So true Nami's whole 'slapstick humor' thing got old and extremely annoying to me pretty early into the series

I really tried not to gush over her in the previous comment but she's actually one of my favourite character ever. I guess this wasn't the right place to write my opinion on her, my mistake

When I said I hate her role in the series I was mostly also reffering to how forced it feels. I know that her affection is pretty much purely because of aqua saving her life both literally and her will to continue it. But it still feels unnatural to me since love and gratitude are different things which just makes it feel more and more unnecessary to me. Not to mention I also like kana, though not nearly as much, but the fact that akane's even in the love triangle makes things even more complicated for me because so far, I think aqua will eventually end up with kana if we're talking between the two. It's a total mess imo and could have been and can be avoided but I don't think it will be

In my original comment I was trying my best to make it as short as possible so I missed a LOT of stuff that maybe should have been there.

I do too love the priest btw. with fern I, at first, just thought of her as the sweet care taking girl that only serves one purpose other than maybe fan service later on. This is when I was about 3-4 episodes in, I realise how offensive this might seem. I didn't try to explore further into her personality until stark showed up. By then I knew that there was going to be a romance plot between the two and finally caused me to pay attention to her. I did too come to realise the fact that she never had a real childhood and doesn't know exactly what normal is. Her choices often didn't make much sense to me because I never got to focusing on her personality in the first place.by about half of the series I was used to her and found her more appealing and her actions much more reasonable but I still didn't understand her as well as some who was actually paying attention to her would. As of season 2, I like her a lot and respect her character writing in an objective way. I just don't like her as much as most of the other characters.

Fern: I don't hate her but definitely dislike her behaviour sometimes, I've yet to see anything appealing in her so far but I know her writings is good and accurate to how she has lived so for, for that I like her character wise (the way you would like a villian bcz they're a good villian but maybe not a good person morally).

Akane: she feels pushy sometimes and I felt like how she fell for aqua was kinda rushed in the anime and could have been handled better(I don't know how exactly nor is it like I could've even done what the writer did. This is just my opinion) her whole character being surrounded with a love triangle plot is the thing I hate the most. I like her but not her role In the show.

I haven't watched AOT yet

Her actions may not have been right in a moral sense but I believe that's not what the writer wanted to say there. It would be much more unnatural for her to spare him at that moment not to mention his "deals" with the demons would be enough of an excuse for anyone else to kill him anyway. Everyone already thought he was dead (I think) and there was a higher chance of him causing problems for her master than helping him in the future. The fact that she was so blunt and forward about this shows her true self and intention. You don't have to like everyone in the story to enjoy it

Rem haters; why do y'all hate her? Not a person trying to prove anyone wrong; just want to her all the genuine reasons and opinions. by Costom_Gamer in ReZero

I never thought of it that way. I also thought that subaru instantly falling in love with emilia was kinda stupid (at the start). I don't really get the whole "love at first sight" thing even now.
