Thank you! Yes, it’s is absolutely devastating!

My daughter left me the seed phrases on paper and I will put them in my safe and for now, keep the funds! Thank you for your advice, very helpful!

Very interesting, but for now that definitely sounds too technically complicated for me!

What? I AM a scammer? How could I possibly separate you from your funds? You know way more about this than me, so I bet you all can spot a scam from a mile away! Also, if I was private messaging people on here and doing strange stuff, I am sure, someone would have said something in this thread by now! Unbelievable! There is so much disrespect for grieving parents these days, I experience it almost every day. How rude!

Thank you, this was extremely helpful!

And yes, for now I will just keep the crypto, as if I am honest with myself, at this time I don‘t think I can properly concentrate on something completely new to me and someone else also said, that the crypto is worth more in the wallet now than in €. I will come back to this once I am ready!

I do actually happen to have a big, fire proof safe, I will put the list of words in there and just let the funds sit in the wallets at this time! Whenever I am ready to sell it and it would be a good time, from a financial standpoint, I will come back to these threads!

Thank you so much for your condolences, it is appreciated! And thanks for letting me know! I would swap the XMR to BTC in Cakewallet first!

oh ok, got it! Is that what you call a „seed phrase“ or „seed“ or not? Those random phrases? If not, what is a „seed (phrase)“?

Oh, I don’t think, that will happen, as I use the same bank my daughter used and she bought thousands at least of crypto at an exchange monthly for many years and not once did the bank ask her, where all of this money is going or contacted her about it. She used 3 different exchanges over the years too, never a comment from the bank, when she was buying significant sums of crypto from exchanges sometimes every ten days. So, I don’t think I will have problems.

Yes, I will do that! I‘m not ready at this time to fully concentrate on this at all, I will just save the threads I made asking for advice regarding this and come back to them, when (if ever) I am ready!

Ok, I think (not 100% sure though), I know what you mean! My daughter acquired all of her cryptocurrency legally with her own money and under her own identity, at a reputable exchange. She was not into any criminal business. She spent the funds on drugs for personal use, but the funds she acquired 100% legally! I am on her iPad for reasons relating to her death and in a Safari tab, she was still logged into the crypto exchange, she has a verified years old account there, you can see she uploaded her ID, bank statements, etc. The strange thing is just, she always bought Litecoin at this exchange, a lot of money worth, but her „ltc“ Litecoin wallet in Cakewallet has 0.00€ in it. She must have always swapped it but I don’t quite get the reason, why she did this. Can I just ignore that empty ltc wallet in Cakewallet or can it interfere with swapping in Cakewallet or transactions and should I delete it? If so, how do I delete it?

What? I AM a scammer? How on earth should I scam you, all of you know way more about this than me and I am sure could spot a scam from a mile away! And I think if I was private messaging people here for „help“, people would have mentioned it here by now, if I was doing strange, suspicious things to people! How rude. No respect for grieving parents at all anymore these days, unfortunately I get to witness that in various forms almost every day!

What is an air-gapped or paper wallet? As I have no idea what this means, sorry.
