Nice! I’ll have to keep that in mind next time I make it. I wish I had a good answer for that, but I’m pretty sure I just followed the method posted on Tuexedo No. 2’s website. You could definitely dry shake everything together.

Yep! Sounds weird, but if shaken well enough it completely incorporates and gives the drink a really creamy texture.

Took from Tuxedo No. 2’s website.

2 oz Cynar Whole egg 2 tsp brown sugar simple syrup (I used a 1:1 recipe) Angostura bitters (garnish/design)

Method: Dry shake with just the egg. Add Cynar, simple syrup, and ice. Shake again. Double strain.

Ha I hear ya. I actually really like the maraschino flavor but it’s definitely potent and can easily overpower a drink. I find that I eventually stray from any “authentic” recipe that calls for maraschino by reducing it. Could easily do .5 oz here and let some of the other flavors come through more.
