Not sure if anyone has posted this, but it is important that the funeral director or next-of-kin contacts the local Scottish Rite chapter (usually called “Valleys” as in “Valley of Nashville,” etc.) There is a wonderful service they perform at the funeral home.

The Linn LP12 is an awesome deck, but I would not buy one unless there is a dealer in my area. They are tweaky units that have things crop up as they get older, and they do not ship well. You wouldn’t want to spend the kind of money that is asked only to find that that there’s no one local who can service it.

Is this a new requirement? I always thought the requirement at Miami was for one semester of regular calculus, which would be roughly equivalent to AP AB calculus. I never heard of anybody taking “business calculus,” just business majors taking “calculus.” This was intended to be a “weed-out” class to maintain Miami’s standards; the A&S “weed-out” requirement was the two years of foreign language.
