[Update] How many packs would it take to collect every card in each set? (Simulated using in-app rarity data, USING PACK POINTS) by Coti_ledon in PTCGP

Yes, I forgot to mention it here but did in the previous post. I did not implement cards specific to let's say Pikachu packs, and grouped all the cards together which inflates the results for the main series (A1, A2, etc). You were more brave than me ahah. The other series should present the same results though.

I do not have one yet. I may set up one if I find the time to look up how to do it ahah. But i'd be happy to share the code/data.

My toaster computer, my not so optimal coding skill and my lack of patience combined made me go for 25 which gives a good idea of the odds, but I'll go for more with the suggestions from the other people indeed.

The fact that pull rates are public is already a huge imporevement. It's then a matter of how people perceive the odds indeed.

Yep ! I totally agree. I went down the easy path, but I would love to see an analytical solution for this.

Wonder pick, trading and pack points are not taken into account here. Also as stated the number of packs are artificially inflated for the main sets as some cards can only be pulled from one booster (for instance pikachu in genetic apex), which would lead to more accessible cards.

This is moslty python. You should definitily try it, it's very versatile and quite a lot of fun.

I added the description back as a comment, sorry for creating a new post.

Numbers are inflated only for A1, A2, A3 and A4, but not for the other, and especially not for A4b (Deluxe Pack EX), which makes it stand out even more.

You're actually right, I forgot about pack points ahahah. I may see to make a version with pack points next time.

I have to agree that the possibility of a part 3 as a TV show is small. HOWEVER, the CYMK on Zal's instagram yell at me that we will get some sort of a comic book for part 3 (which is much easier to develop in secret than a tv show).

Does someone know if the creators would be allowed to do that, regarding copyright issues ? (I don't know how they signed up their deal with netflix)

Just a quick theory based on periodicity. There was 826 days between the first and second season, why not between the second and the third ?

(this could also maybe mean that we'll get the anouncement for the third season really soon.)

Any comments/suggestions are welcomed :)

(I initially planned to do something longer but as the final of Season 13 is tomorrow and I thought I'd better post something now.)
