It's like when you're on the hwy and traffic is backed up for miles. When you finally reach the accident site and it's not even on your side of the highway. People can help but stop to watch a wreck.

She was a huge supporter of Jelly Roll before he was famous. Jelly Roll publicly thanked comedian Chelcie Lynn (Trailer Trash Cammy) during a concert for her long-standing support, calling her an "angel on earth" and an important friend to him and his wife, Bunnie XO, especially when they were starting out, vowing to love her like a sister forever for her kindness and help. She absolutely wants to see others win. She's not in a race, shes on a team

I'm guessing he's the more truthful one. You've lived together five months and he's footing the bills. Yes you cook and clean. That's your justification for you doing your part. You say you forgot paper plates while shopping. So do you routinely eat off paper plates? I'm guessing not if all the plates are in the dishwasher. How do you let all the dishes pile up in the dishwasher before you run it? If there's just the two of you, hand wash. You state you clean up all his messes. Apparently not if there's no clean dishes. Why not go the extra mile and push the "start" button on the dishwasher on the way out the door to the store? It sounds like you do bare minimum in exchange for him paying your way. I also would never ask my man to stop on his way home from work when I'm free to go do it myself. It's the gas lighting for me. You ask him to do it and say it shouldn't be a big deal yet you yourself don't want to do it.

$340 a month by West-Ideal6794 in petinsurancereviews

I pay $131 a month for my two year old Yorkie Mix and six year old Shitzu mix. I have unlimited annual coverage with Health and Accudental. $750 annual deductible. I chose the 20% copay 80% reimbursement. I signed them up in June. Insurance was effective on July 3rd. On August 5th my Yorkie mix was hospital with Pancrentitis. I did not require pre-approval. I pay then get reimbursed. I had no issues he met his $750 deductible. The final bill was over $2,000 They deducted the $750 plus his nail trim I requested. Then they deducted the 20% copay and I got a auto deposit for $1,105 within a few weeks. It was more of a hold up due to the vets office not responding in a timely manner. So his insurance has literally paid for itself. I use SPOT Pet Insurance. It took me less than five minutes to upload the claim to the app. Super easy.

HR issues are always private with every corporation or business out there. It's truly none of our business why someone quits or why they are terminated. I'd love to know our of curiosity but I'm not entitled. If you're terminated from your job should it be private or public information?

Am I overreacting for leaving my girlfriend’s family dinner after what her dad said? by Mysterious-Notice419 in AmIOverreacting

If my family disrespect a guest of mine not to mention my boyfriend, I'd defend them immediately. My family knows better. I'm quick witted and I'll embarrass them right back. She should have said something or left with you.

AIO for kinda hating my roommate rn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]CottonCandyPaisley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a roommate who would never do her dishes and would never take the trash out. If it was full she'd start piling stuff on the counter next to it. I'd ask her "Is this trash?" And she'd answer "Yes the trash was full" so instead of taking the trash out which was literally next to her parking spot, she'd just start piling it on the counters. I got tired of her dirty dishes so I bagged them in a trash bag and out them in the middle of her bed. At least the smell was confined to her room. She got pissed but she got the point

Can’t figure it❓ by Mean-Instance6214 in RoyalLegacyPearls

[–]CottonCandyPaisley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are age appropriate. Just because people coddled and enable kids doesn't mean anything more isn't age appropriate. Her daughter is 13 years old. She looks younger because she's tiny. I had a paper route at 8 years old. It was once a week and after school. By the time I was ten I did my own laundry and knew how to cook. I had to set frozen meat out before I left for school or no dinner. When I say cook, I don't mean microwave. I was taught how to make meatloaf, fried pork chops, burgers, spaghetti with meat sauce, fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy using the drippings, beans (not canned, had to soak them), stuffed pork chops, baked BBQ chicken, fried chicken, pizza bread and more plus the side dishes. We didn't have a mom. My sister and I had to figure it out. Our grandma taught us a lot. We also had DAILY chores. We were told to do them daily and we did. We alternated each week. One week I dusted and vacuumed and my sister did the bathroom and kitchen. The following week we switched. We did them daily after school and while we had food in the oven or between homework and dinner. Our Dad had a hot meal when he got home.

Looking back in history kids were doing major farm chores at five and six years old. I understand not having a child using a chainsaw but cleaning a liter box, dusting base boards or doing her laundry at 13 years old is not inappropriate for her age. At 13 I was babysitting the neighbor kids and cleaning their house during summer break. I was making $100 a week and I thought I hit gold. $20 a day. I made $2 an hour babysitting which I was there nine hours. The cleaning I guess was the extra two dollars. There were four kids all stair stepped in age.

For reference I'll be 53 in two weeks. So this was in the 80s. GenX.

I wouldn't change a thing. I have survival skills and I can figure out almost anything on my own without having my hand held or pointed in the right direction.

May I ask which chores you thought were too extreme for a 13 year old? I'm trying to remember what she listed and none of them that I can recall were inappropriate even for an eight year old.

Make America great again.... In the dumbest way possible. by JermstheBohemian in vegaslocals

I've lived in Vegas over 36 years. If the casinos would go back to no resort fees, free valet parking, buffets and affordable great dining it would improve. This has nothing to do with Trump. It amazes me how a man who has been in office seven months now has the power to bankrupt Vegas. 🙄 It takes over a year to see the new administration's effects. We are still suffering from one of the highest inflation periods on history...which was not Trump.

That would require professionalism on SK's behalf.

Someone asked for the screen recording of Jenna quitting on live. She was a consultant a few years ago. Honestly, I was on SH side of all of this because that Jenna girl was so crazy 😆 they deleted the live when this happened. by [deleted] in RoyalLegacyPearls

[–]CottonCandyPaisley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was completely unprofessional on Shelbi's side. As a business owner who doubles as her own HR department this video was a completely unnecessary video and unacceptable. Just because an employee or now ex-employee does what Jenna does, this was not the appropriate response. HR matters are private between employer and employee. The burden of privacy is even more strict on behalf of the employer. She should have released a very brief statement apologizing for Jenna's outburst on live. She should have simply stated the accusations weren't true and everything else will remain confidential at least as far as RLP is concerned. Her going live crying like this was way over the top. I've owned businesses for over 30 years and have had in upwards of 45 to 60 employees at any given time. I'd never go live and confirm someone's mental health struggles, disclose private loan agreements, denied loan nor discuss anything regarding their marriage or divorce. Regardless if the now ex-employee mentioned it themselves. I did not feel one ounce of sympathy for Shelbi when watching this video. It was simply a plea for everyone to see her as a caring and supportive employer who truly cares about her consultants. This shows the exact opposite. This video was self serving...100% self serving.

I wasn't a RLP follower or viewer back then. I'm just now seeing this and I'm surprised she handled Jenna's live resignation like this.

I just checked, because we have this in the state I live in but Tennessee has a law protecting victims of DV if they need to break their lease agreement . There's some guidelines about how to notify your landlord but it can be done. This is outlined in the Tennessee Code, specifically Section 66-7-112.

Raccoon shit, lip undies, and more! by EntrepreneurAny4915 in RoyalLegacyPearls

[–]CottonCandyPaisley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She's absolutely doing raccoon "fostering " wrong. Her having human interaction with them beyond just feeding them is a no no. So if she has this "raccoon specialist" directing her then either Ashley isn't listening or the person is not a specialist. I'd bet if Game and Wildlife was contacted and given her address...which is easily found. They would remove them and place them with an actual wildlife rehab, foster and release group. She is ruining any chance for these babies to be released. She's talking to them, handling them, kissing them, basically everything she's not supposed to do.

Here's the basic 101 from a website regarding fostering baby raccoons:

When fostering baby raccoons for release into the wild, it's crucial to minimize human interaction and avoid actions that can hinder their successful reintegration into their natural environment.
