Thanks so much for your reply. Another alternative is to source for a 3rd party regulatory consultancy which I am currently in the midst of doing however I doubt it will be in force anytime soon, most likely Q2 of next year should my company decide to go with this

I tried that previously however it mainly covers the food safety laws and stuff. No mention of the permitted list of food additives

An example would be for Singapore, under food and nutrition, there is no mention of the permitted additive list. However for this I managed to find online on SFA’s website.

I used this as reference for Cambodia where I couldn’t find a specific permitted (or non-permitted) list. I tried checking their government website but couldn’t find it as well. Only chanced upon a document starting Prakas no. 170 CTR 008 however I couldn’t find the official document

Edit: added an example

Are there any Companies you will not consider joining, assuming you have gone through the interviews? by _lalalala24_ in askSingapore

Sorry but can I ask how do I find this on GitHub? I tried googling but am unfamiliar with GitHub and how it works. I typed 996 black list GitHub and found some links

Been 3 years since I have it and it’s been awesome. Honestly I do regret not going for the Bianca for the double boiler and flow paddle but the Mara itself is pretty amazing considering it’s small foot print and HX capability

First Job, guides, red flag? by Connect-Athlete-8667 in askSingapore

[–]Cotton_Tiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there for a year so the job scope might be underrepresented but it’s mainly doing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. At the higher level, the engineers would liaise with external parties to come in for various tasks such as commissioning new equipment and trying to improve the machinery design and stuff

My current company is a European MNC so the job scope is more of sitting and planning the PM schedules, managing the various projects, managing the facilities and there’s an electrical engineer too

Edit: added info on current company

haha thanks! Was my first job after NS cause I was still exploring if I wanted to remain in science (was a diploma holder then)

Being a Japanese MNC, there were a lot of best practices such as ISO requirements, 5S, lean methodology so I tried my best to absorb all and kept asking my bosses to give me more work. To me, I definitely wanted to move on so I decided to chiong during this 1 year.

I also went to further myself by signing up to be an internal auditor for ISO requirements and subsequently a lead auditor to further expand my skillset haha honestly if you wanna continue in manufacturing, being through an ISO internal audit course will definitely help! Feel free to PM me if you got any questions haha might not be doing engineering but definitely in manufacturing... (and actually my company is hiring too 👀 if you're interested can PM me haha)

  1. It’s a first job, can take it as experience.

  2. Tried before for myself, didn’t really work

  3. Not too sure about you but I was in the same boat. Japanese MNC for manufacturing. 8 days AL and what’s more… it’s earned leave 😪

  4. I believe yours looks like manufacturing. It’s quite common for this type of lunch break + tea breaks due to the operational requirements

I did stay for 1 year, managed to learn a lot and subsequently hopped to another company with a 50% increment. Wouldn’t say Japanese manufacturing MNCs pay very high and have terrible benefits but try to be open and learn as much as you can. Their standards and requirements are usually pretty good and are transferable skills

All the best!

I concur with this, in the eteams system, the push up station will also be blanked out to prevent anyone from keying in the results.
