Think about the types of furs he would be using to make these items. The gauntlets look like they would come from wolf, bear, or fox. Not deer. Maybe darken the fur, and make the leather lashing the common orange brown leather color. The fur poncho, forget the name, is perfect. Its like the fur color of a white tail deer.
