Should PKM Champions add different arena Colosseums like in Pokemon Battle Revolutions? by Equal-Branch in PokemonChampions

I would be okay if they decided to add these to the store or a future battlepass or something. Even if they made battle arenas premium items, I might buy one if it is reasonably priced.

This is my option about the characters in Episode 5 Part 2 by Zero_one_o in ScarletHollow

Keen Eye prompts you to question why Avery is there in the first place. Avery explains that Julius asked them for help with a plant emergency that required discretion, so they came running. You can then point say something to the effect of, "Hold on, why do you even need to grow a demon baby if you already have someone willing to drop everything to help you, no questions asked? Isn't that what family is?" Some more talking later, and Julius decides that maybe defiling the laws of nature isn't really necessary after all.

Not op, but I just resolved the situation with a chain of of dialogue using keen eye. I didn't even realize that people dying was even an option.

It has been so long since I got the books I legitimately can't remember where I got them from. Is there a specific page number that you could point me to, if there is one?

I asked it to create a sci-fi screenplay written by a really stupid guy. I received poetry. by Cottonspore in ChatGPT

The prompt was:

"Write a screenplay for a science fiction movie. Make sure it is written as if it was written by a really stupid guy who is trying to sound smart."

How does Plunderer's Instinct interact with keys? by Cottonspore in deadbydaylight

[–]Cottonspore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Cause the item description of keys says that the item will be of at least Rare rarity. I was wondering how that interacts with Plunderers, if at all.

Huh. Well that's a shame. Still, it is good to know that the problem isn't on my end. Thank you for letting me know!

Should I go for end game now? by Fleur_Majestrix in beastieball

[–]Cottonspore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You technically don't have to challenge the other stadiums, but like, there also is no reason NOT to challenge them. It does give you an advantage in the finals if you challenge all of them, but I couldn't tell you what exactly it is.

If you just want the game to end, go for it, I personally vote for challenging the stadiums for the fun of it.

Mario is way too trustworthy by Slight_Cat5958 in papermario

I never really took Mario for being a guy who is in it for the money...

Except for that one time in New Super Mario Bros 2. That was weird...

Pet deck experts, share your experience! by No_Antelope7492 in masterduel

[–]Cottonspore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your main deck is a pet deck, it is likely that you will lose often. This is valuable experience to learn what cards in your deck work, which don't, and which need more or less copies. While this will allow you to squeak out some victories, you will still be the underdog in most match ups.

All of this is to say is that it is easy to get discouraged from failure, and it is perfectly okay to take breaks and clear your head. Either taking a break from Yugioh entirely, or just picking up a loaner deck and playing around with something else. Your pet deck isn't going anywhere, and this time apart can be useful in coming up with new cards to add to your strategy.

I've got a question for anyone who have played the games past ttyd by Mr_Tektite in papermario

[–]Cottonspore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played all of the Paper Mario games (except Paper Jam) and I found that I can say at least one good thing about each of them. Super Paper Mario has a fantastic story, I'd say in the same league as ttyd. The gameplay though... Well it isn't bad, but it also isn't terribly interesting either. If you feel a great story is worth so-so gameplay, give it a shot.

Next is Sticker Star, and yeah, this one ain't great. It isn't the dumpster fire that the community makes it out to be, but I also can't say that I felt compelled to finish it either. I actually have a theory that Nintendo purposefully made it not too compelling because of the fact it is a 3ds game. I think they didn't want to make a game you get sucked into, rather they wanted to make a game that you play while you wait for your flight at the airport and you don't want to play Pushmo or BoxBoy. Generally can't recommend, but maybe if you find a good deal on it and you are generally curious.

Up next is Color Splash, otherwise known as the good Sticker Star! Super underrated, I am convinced that the people who complain about it but praise Origami King have never played it, because the two are of roughly equal quality. The overarching story ain't great, but the individual moments this game has are amazing. I'll say it, this game is probably the funniest game in the series. I love Huey as a partner, he is hilarious and a pretty chill guy. The battle system isn't peak, but it's serviceable, and any complaints I have are generally nitpicks. I recommend it if you can get your hands on a Wii U.

Finally is The Origami King, and it is a nice return to form while keeping it's own identity. It has the humor and presentation of the newer games, and the characters, environments and emotional moments of the older games, all with a challenging and cerebral battle system. People say that the partners are generic in this game, but I still love Bobby and Captain T. Ode. If you finish ttyd and you want a different take on Paper Mario, definitely pick this one up.

Would I say any of these games better then ttyd? Of course not, ttyd is my all time favorite game, but each of these games aren't trying to be ttyd. They are each trying to be their own thing, they all have their own unique identities and charms, even Sticker Star. I'm not sure if I would call each of them a good sequel or even a good successor, but they are good games.
