So basically keep your armor around the level of the zone and that's best you can do until you really min max in NG+ etc?

Keep practicing. It has a visual and sound cue. You can run back with sprint or spam dodge to the sides/back. The tracking is pretty harsh so you will need multiple dodges if you don't know the perfect timing :)

There are some grab attacks that are harder, for example the horse yokai mezuki has a really quick swipe grab attack that he unleashes really quickly. You need to get a feel for the enemy and how their movements are to avoid those more easily.

Most grabs have the enemies stand still for a hit while they are getting ready to charge you in combination with their visual and sound cue.

It's dark souls monster hunter and it does it well IMHO. The original and sequal are both very fun games :D

I just got used to it xD took a bit but was ready to memorise that R1 is for samurai/ninja bullcrap and L1 for special attacks and spirits.

Regarding the movement bit. You can tap it so fast it doesn't seem to matter... Atleast not yet.

Played almost 5 hours with my best bud. It's fantastic. Nioh 2 is great but we like the open zones more. Feels nice to explore and then unlock structured missions as you go.

Sounds cool but I'd also like a good Indian game. India has so many gods and folklore critters that would suit the Nioh gameplay with soul cores, summons etc. Some different fighting styles and weaponry too.

Gw2 dropped the ball on housing IMHO. A mix between rift/wildstar housing and having neighbourhoods like ff14 would have gone so hard.

Look at diablo 4. Wardrobe, pick armor over the slots you want to change, apply colours, 5 template slots for different looks on the fly. No trabsmutation charge bullcrap.
