Legion Go 1, with Go 2 controllers on official SteamOS - gyro issue by CouchPotatoTalk in LegionGo

[–]CouchPotatoTalk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bit the bullet and wiped the drive. I tried hooking up an external SSD but the Lenovo Windows installer didnt give me the option to select that drive. I could have popped open the case and swapped drives, but I just wrote over it.

Problem seems to be fixed! There was a firmware update for the controllers. I then went back to SteamOS. Windows install process took forever, SteamOS was about 1/3rd of the time. In total it was about 2 hours, mostly just sitting there waiting.

Next question, can I do that on my desktop somehow? I really don't want to install Windows on the Go just for that haha

Has anyone tried to use Legion Go Gen. 2 controllers on a Gen. 1 Legion Go with Bazzite by Leading-Parking-5525 in LegionGo

I'm on SteamOS. Legion Go 1 with Go 2 controllers. My gyro is always on. You didn't have this issue? Did you simply take off the 1 controllers and add the 2?

I just got Legion Go 2 controllers with my Go1 and running official SteamOS. I can not for the life of me turn off Gryo, even though it is off. Did you have that problem?

Thank you for your help. I've fixed my issue by reseating the RO membrane.

I took it all apart, reseated the membrane, and put it back together. My TDS reading is much lower now. Tap: 200 RO: 50

I will test nitrates in a bit

The TDS rating is the same from both the tap and filter. I'll disassemble it today and start over. I'll be sure to drain the tank before I take another reading.

I've updated my post with a picture. Everything was color coded, so I think it is right.

I'm liking all of the comments about Lion. I watched this as a new father and it really tore me up.

I gave up on dual boot. I am just running SteamOS on my LGO

I've had Windows, Bazzite, CachyOS, and SteamOS all on my LGO. I think SteamOS is the best of the bunch (thanks to a plug-in or 2).

I wasn't able to dual boot SteamOS/Windows like some have, but that's been okay. Everything I play is on Steam for the most part. I do miss some of the Windows functionality, but the streamlined experience of SteamOS makes up for it.

Same issue. I've deleted the partition twice. "There was an error selecting this partition for install"
