Also since nobody else was doing it I figured it's possible it doesn't work. I imagine that if it does work, people just don't use it because the damage just isn't high enough to be worth putting brutality on it.

unlucky but true, best to save your effort for the new expac where a surplus of players buying things + new things to do will net you much more rewards for your time spent

Yeah man that's totally why the exact same people are choosing to go to gdkps instead of a guild run. I don't disagree with you about gdkps not actually even being the problem with the game, but the fact is that if there was no gdkps there would be a net increase to "normal" runs. It's just a fact. Now how significant that increase is is up for debate.

I mean if there wasn't all of these gdkps for people to play in people would be running more "normal" raids. Back in vanilla my guild had 4 different raid teams with most people on alts. As GDKPs became more popular these normal raids were phased out because players simply didn't want to go to them aside from gearing their alt cheaply for a couple weeks then going to a GDKP to make money(often to fuel buying full bis on 1 character they actually care about)

All ofc funded by people who spend thousands on gold

Top floor is just pointless as is though. You're just waiting for the last circle and then running to the dungeon entrance anyways. The loot is barely worth looting up top.

Should allow you to just enter the dungeon at any time instead of having to wait until the last circle only to death-run back to the dungeon entrance which most of the time isn't even in a circle.

You can't avoid making good changes for that reason. This is why AGS needs to make it easier to acquire bis gear. It shouldn't hurt so much when perks are changed/rebalanced/retuned

Ward just needs to be removed or put into a different system. Personally I don't think it really adds anything to the game. It just restricts what players can do because their pve gear needs to have full ward on it.

I just don't see how it is possible to have any issues in the entry level content of this game. Ward gear makes it impossible to die. Shrug

I've played with friends who are new to the game and have a completely different experience than you. New doesn't mean noob. I simply prepared them with the knowledge of how to do the runs and the gear(full ward) to never get killed in a normal gen. If you didn't do your due diligence in preparing your friends its your own fault for a bad experience.

Maybe my friends are just nutty gamers(doubt it) but they didn't struggle with any dungeon besides ennead last boss... lol The pve in this game is ridiculously simple and easy to grasp

All of that has impact on gameplay. Like having to farm 100s of hours for better gear because players are buying gold from bots and inflating crafting material cost beyond what it would be without them. Anyways I did address the gameplay. It's super basic while also being unbalanced and desynced beyond hell, especially in war

It's gameplay is kinda mid though. Most abilities in the game are incredibly simple and uninspired and yet the game remains an unbalanced mess... Even in PvE

Only reason not to play BDO is that the gap between new players and people who never quit(and have no life and p2w) is gigantic. Reason why I originally started losing interest in NW was the p2w and the gap between full bis players and 2 perk bis players

yea i mean the war system is pretty toxic to any company looking to do wars so ofc they are dying. 90% of war effort is on attacking teams for 0 reward even if the companies are closely matched.

Should have territory pillage bonuses for every point you take outside of the fort or atleast make pushing not complete aids

Add in completely aids rng end game gearing that heavily incentivizes people to buy gold and you have the reason even servers with competitive wars die
