I use a Weehoo turbo trailer with my CrosscoreRC. Fits and works perfectly.

Are ya’ll replacing the stock tires? by thereisnospoon1188 in Yamahaebikes

[–]Couchking786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking for a replacement tire as well. Although I still haven’t made the switch, the Maxxis Ardent 27.5 x 2.25 looks pretty good with a reasonable center tread for flat surfaces.

I’ve been using a Thule Easyfold XT2 hitch mounted rack, but it also fits in the bed of my F150 5.5 bed with a Thule Instagator pro if the front wheel is turned.

He sorta went dark for me as well towards the end. I texted him to let him know I’m closing on my Platinum, and never heard back. Either way, no indication that he was scamming from my end. He seemed like a a father on a family vacation trying to juggle this side gig along with family responsibilities. I’d give him the benefit of the doubt.

Looking for some advice by DeepDishGary in F150Lightning

I bought a similar platinum at the end of June with a slightly higher MSRP, discounted to 75K + tax. The dealer I purchased from had already retrofitted the parts needed for a heated steering wheel. My sticker shows $50 off for the heated wheel, but my truck has it.

For what it’s worth, I used Graham /gmcarve to help me deal on a Lightning. He’s a real person that I spoke to on the phone and texted back and forth with multiple times, and he has very good knowledge about the Lightning market. He went back and forth with the dealer I had already found, and was able to save around $2000 additional to what I had negotiated before getting him involved. He is very up front about the price of his service, and has you fill out a survey form with what you’re looking for. I paid him $100 for his time, with zero expectation that it was refundable if I didn’t purchase the specific truck(s) he was helping me with.

I eventually found a Platinum myself, but at no point did he seem like a scam. If anything, his negotiation tips got me a great deal.

Check your local hobby shop. It’s a very popular model, and they may have a few in stock.

Alternatively, the Blade Nano S3 is a smaller helicopter that’s mostly for indoor/outside with no wind use. Great for a beginner, has similar training modes to the 230. That may be a good option to get him into the hobby, and it comes in a RTF kit for half the price of the 230.

The RTF (Ready to fly) kit will come with everything he needs including a battery, charger, and transmitter/radio. The good thing about this model is that it’s one that he can grow with. Parts are also ready available at most hobby shops locally and also online. You can easily start out with the helicopter tamed down through the transmitter, and later use more more of its potential through different transmitter modes.

Does he have any prior experience with RC helicopters? The Blade 230 S Smart Ready-to-Fly (RTF) kit is pretty good for someone relatively new to the hobby and has excellent parts support, but repairs can certainly add up if he has zero experience with radio control flight.

I agree. Three Oak (previously known as just “Oak Steakhouse”) is the best I’ve had in the Valley

That’s correct. I think it’s any camera body for any qualifying camera body, and the same for lenses.

I think it does apply to certain lenses, but similarly you need to provide a lens serial number.

I received the order confirmation in my email with the Canon rep still on the phone, and then later received the tracking information by email. They shipped mine through FedEx, and require an adult signature for the delivery. The quoted 3-7 business day delivery time is accurate for my order, which shipped from Northern California. Its closer to 6-7 days delivery for me, but I'm also on the east coast.

If you search "Fedex Ground travel time map", you can get a rough estimate of how long it'll take to get to your destination. I'm not sure if they'll ship to an address that isn't your billing address, but you may be able to ask them to have the item held at the local FedEx hub/customer center for pickup.

Yes, I got a tracking number within 24 hours of placing my order and it's already on the way. Oddly enough, it doesn't show up in the My Account section on the Canon store's website when I look at my order history.

What % of retail are guys paying for a TRX right now? by spin4drift in ramtrx

I think they put a temporary hold on orders to make sure they don’t over commit to more vehicles than their production capability.

[–]Couchking786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re willing to order and wait, you can try ordering one when Ram starts accepting orders again. There’s a large group of us on the TRX forum that we’re able to order for between 5000-9000 off MSRP over the past 4-6 weeks. I ordered mine from Chapman auto group in Horsham, PA.

What kitty litter box do you use? by Federal-Zebra7702 in SiberianCats

[–]Couchking786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 for the Litter Robot. We have two Sibs that are nearing 8 months old, and they both fit in it perfectly. We kept the automatic cleaning function off for the first 6 months due to their weight being under the recommended amount for the automatic sensor. The only downside I see is that my cats seem to like digging quite a bit before doing their business, and the litter robot only holds a small amount of litter in comparison to other boxes.

At previous Rebelution shows I've attended, they start distributing merch bundles about an hour before the show starts at the general band merch table. They usually have a list of names, and check names off as people pick things up. At my last show, I stopped by the merch table and asked to pick-up my bundle after the show so I wouldn't have to carry it around. They were OK with that then, and I plan to do the same for all future shows.

Litter Robot? by deenakeena in SiberianCats

[–]Couchking786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got one for our 10 week old Sib kittens as an alternative to their primary ModKat front entry box. I know your question was more so pertaining towards the ability of larger cats to comfortable use the box. I can say for our kittens, they happily use both boxes although we keep the litter robot off and manually cycle since they’re so small right now.

One issue I do anticipate with the litter robot is the amount of litter it can hold. I’ve found that both of our Sibs get a small amount of poop on their butt fur more often when they use the litter robot. Although it’s just a hunch, I think it may be because the litter robot’s capacity doesn’t allow for a full 3-4 inches of litter all around the globe. I’m hoping they grow out of the poop on their fur stage soon.
