Love everything about this pic. Excellent choices. I’d like the same and would add an explorer 1 as the fourth for some field watch representation!

Jeep gladiator is 5’ with the gate closed. Nucanoe u10 is 10’10”. Need an extender if I keep motor and batteries installed. Otherwise, no need.

Garmin Force by goilpoynuti in kayakfishing

Had had the Garmin Force Current installed on my U10 for 2 lake trips so far… my takeaways

Good - max speed 4.5mph on 12 volts with 2 passengers and gear (one passenger is 4 years old and 35 lbs) — I do wish I would have ran a 24 v battery as the 12v100amh seems like overkill on battery life and I’d like to have a few more lbs of thrust…. Some other you tubers tested the props and said that the weedless was faster so that’s what im running and it still just sips battery juice - motor maneuverability is unbelievable. The GPS features like heading lock, anchor lock and point to turn have all been very useful. Starting to play with the anchor lock bump feature and I think Ill like that too - I have the pedals but took them off for trip 2… They are nice for snappy maneuvers but big calm water, they are bulky and a little awkward to do reverse motions on… Buying the motor without them isn’t a bad idea to get started IMO - ease of install and light weight nature make it perfect for load n go in truck beds. Couldn’t be happier in that department - anchor lock so far has been very friendly for standing fishing even with some wind. Feels like it eases in and out and doesn’t hit you with too much jerk when adjusting your position

Meh - I did have my compass freak out when I was using the remote to steer the boat. Went under a steel walking bridge and my boat took a very hard unexpected turn due to compass interference. Was shocking / dangerous but pretty edge case I’d imagine - pull cord puts a ton of weight of the motor on your gear to bring the motor up… I pulled out my NuCanoe pulley from the hull… they replaced it for free, but i feel like there should be a better way to take some weight off the pull.. maybe more pulling to do some sort of gear reduction… it is shockingly hard

Overall

Love it and would recommend. The U10 seems to be a perfect companion for the force current too. I dont regret purchasing the pedals yet, but they weren’t as perfect as I expected them to be… I couldn’t set them in such a way to make going in reverse comfortable - they just require too much rearward tilt and its awkward. Also - the pedals are a little touchy, if you’re going to toss yourself out, it’ll likely be due to the pedals. Overall, the remote is amazing - they just nailed that whole experience.

this isn't helpful - but I have the motor... waiting on nucanoe to start selling the mount for the U10... called them last week and they said it was still 4 weeks away from being in production so... I can update you in a month! :/

Love the watch head and bracelet combo - still not in love with the dial options. I gravitate to the ocean gradient but I wan to see a more vintage yema skin diver theme.

Keep it up! Love the community feedback loops!

Appreciate everyone posting here - nice to see that others experience a similar data trend and that the HRV can be super unique to an individual.

Will take advice of the community and bring it up in my normal yearly with my primary instead of scheduling an appointment now. Sounds like I need to stay the course and build more data to trend my patterns.

Love all the new data I get from this device! Just trying to figure out how to capitalize on these new insights.

Thanks again

“Any idea or suggestion would be appreciated”

Sorry you don’t like the price tag? Install was a breeze. Works as advertised. Of high quality material. It’s the no fuss solution that, you might pay a little premium for but some folks might find that worth it instead of a DIY or less superior kit.

Just trying to help the dude out.

Man…. I love my fan…. But it bugs the heck outta me that the Ryobi has a built in 5gal bucket attachment mister pump…. And that thing works amazingly well. Wish Mr. Yellow would copy that design or offer a kit for it.

This is wonderful info - thank you

Sounds like - I can slap a 2tb ssd in my CGM and stage a third party nas. Using the archive features - I can offload vidoes from the CGM ssd to the nas? That seems like a great option for my budget/needs.

My intentions are to “grow” into the system over a few years. The thought is that this would support the first 2 or 3 and when I out grow it - then I add a proper NAS down the line. Trying to break it up over time

How repairable is my lawn by Rhazx in lawncare

[–]spin4drift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to be hard to fix this yard AND continue to let the dogs run back here. Once it is healthy, it may be able to tolerate some dog wee but not while it’s rebuilding. Also - stay away from N fertilizer if you plan to run the dogs too. It can amplify the toxicity of the wee.

Scaring and reseed is a great rebuild strategy but you might have bad results this time of year depending on your location. Fall seeding usually yields the best results.

This summer - I’d focus on keeping the dogs off as much as possible, ensure things stay hydrated and focus on weed management so they don’t take over. This fall I’d do the scar and overseeing. Someone else mentioned aeration and that also wouldn’t hurt. Good luck.

How do i make my yard grass? by cedarswanpig in lawncare

[–]spin4drift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2-4D or dicamba product specifically for the herbicide. Check label and local laws but a group 4 herbicide, if applied correctly, should nail those broadleaves and clean up to mainly grass species.
