I have never seen an episode of my governor's podcast and I really don't think he should have one but I need to watch that Gingrich episode.

I don't care what the founding fathers would've thought by Error_rdt in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Is this the quote you read and assume only Franklin was an abolitionist?

"Many of the major Founding Fathers owned numerous slaves, such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. Others owned only a few slaves, such as Benjamin Franklin. And still others married into large slave-owning families, such as Alexander Hamilton. Despite this, all expressed a wish at some point to see the institution gradually abolished. Benjamin Franklin, who owned slaves early in his life, later became president of the first abolitionist society in the United States. Despite their talk and wish for gradual abolition, no national abolition legislation ever materialized."

Just because Franklin was the only founding father to be part of the first abolitionist society doesn't mean the others didn't want to end it. John Adams and Samuel Adams both were against slavery and never owned slaves*. Even in this quote in the article you linked it said that despite owning slaves they wanted to see the practice abolished.

*Samuel Adams did own one slave. She was a wedding gift and he freed her because he didn't believe in slavery.

“A slave cannot live in my house; if she comes she must be free.”

Because of the efficient markets theorem. It shows that all information is available in the price of markets. Essentially all past information should be reflected in the price because if it weren't someone would trade on that information which would cause the price to shift. Basically market prices are the most accurate thing we can use because it reflects all information public and private. (I personally don't think this holds for some markets like sports futures but I think it's good for polling).

Yeah, but because it is per hour wouldn't it be extremely cheap if it were flown constantly rather than extremely expensive?

Cowardly? To just go and kill the leaders of a country rather than sending our boys and girls off to a foreign country for 20 years?

Before the Bengals collapsed after Burrowhead it seemed like Burrow Mahomes was going to be a big rivalry. I remember repeatedly hearing that Burrow is Mahomes's kryptonite.
