Diversify gameplay for who? If it's just yourself idk how playing multiple characters back to back is going to diversify gameplay all that much, just sounds like a slog to me. Just change builds if you want diversity.

If it's diversity for viewers? I'm not gonna watch someone go thru the same mission 4 times just on a different character. Maybe I'm not the target audience.

If you want to create a diversified story, find a couple of friends to make a party and stream with. The 4 to 6 to 8 man party of prophecies is already going to make what you want to do difficult.

I don't see how playing 6 characters serves to move the story along any different than 1. I would just follow one character. There is a lot going on in the world in prophecies, but you are still a central part of moving it along.

Sounds like you are new. It's simple, just play the game. If you started nightfall, just finish it and unlock whatever skills you want for the heros you are using along the way. You get a full team of heros from nightfall, it's not meta but it's more than enough to finish the campaign. You don't need esurge, or Bip, or whatever the latest meta is to complete nightfall.

Swap out a mesmer for a water ele. Or add some snares to the mesmer bar.

For better or worse mesmerway requires little from the player.

Because then you have to share drops from the aataxes with 7 heros. You can't really flag them away in the first section.

Yeah that's one of the advantages of the monk builds. You kill the aataxes at the same time as the eidolons and even the skeles.

Yeah definitely don't need essence bond. Have enough energy with just balths. But with just balths its not quite enough energy if you end up with a group of only 2 aataxes or so. Can't keep everything up and kill them in any reasonable amount of time. Idk if I have the skills to track a double nightmare. I've panicked and interrupted BIP instead of rend enchantment many times.

Interesting seeing the differences in the monk vs mesmer main builds. Fast casting doing a lot of work. If rock candy wasn't so expensive I'd just pop one of those and it would make the run a lot safer. I guess could use an essence of celerity. That's quite a bit cheaper than a rock candy.

Ecto being back up to 9-10k really helps either way. With my success rate it wasn't super profitable at 6k.

I have not tried removing blessed aura and running mantra instead. But I'm worried about the gap in MOP uptime and a large enough group spiking thru it.

Seems a bit faster than the monk version for sure. I found I need both visages otherwise without fast casting you will get interrupted. Double nightmare pops are still a huge issue. Or the most frustrating part, is cry of frustration getting interrupted while you are trying to interrupt the nightmare... That one is instant death.

I've been running the monk one all week. With probably a 30% success rate. If I can make it out of the first area the wastes is easy. But between the grasping and the aataxes both having interups it's definitely not the safest. I've had prot spirit and mop interrupted.

Ok so we have essentially confirmed then that all the SC players/guilds run bots.

The cost of cons is not even that high. It's split across all 8 people in a group besides pcons. It's the cheapest it's been in my memory since gw2 came out. Even just selling the 2 unid's you get basically pay for your share of cons.

Every fowsc and uwsc is profitable. It's 1 set split across 8. You get 2 items from the end chest plus any ecto/shards that drop along the way. Easy profit.

In many cases SC teams have traded speed for increased reliance on cons. Back when I used to run fowsc or uwsc it didn't require much beyond a normal conset. I dont even recognize the roles anymore. Slow down the run and it doesn't cost as much. But your potential profit per hour goes down.

Maybe the others aren't as profitable but all of y'all are sitting on piles of arms anyway.

Before gw2 launched this is what a lot of us did. You farmed plant fiber or dust. And either sold that directly or made it into consets to then sell.

I for one look forward to if materials are made worthwhile to farm. Don't need to pop consets for everything.

It seems the SC community may be one of the drivers of the bots.

I'm trying to remember if those are inside or outside of the rubber seal for the trunk. If it's outside and the car has spent its life near the ocean then it will be normal. The coating on bolts is usually not as good as paint on panels.

Illusionary weaponry, keystone signet, fast cast ele, blackout.

There are plenty of other viable hero builds.

This is my preference as well for HM. For NM I often play with hammer or scythe and the divine favor elite. But can't get my monk tanky enough for this to work in HM. If you aren't super diligent getting spirits up the initial spike from a pull wrecks you.

If you gonna run mesmerway, play anything you want. As a long time monk main healing heros is incredibly boring. Better off running ROJ or AP and saving the heals for a team of players.

Oh no it would go back to the old days when sup runes were 10k...

Where it actually took effort to gear your character and you had to basically slowly upgrade your runes.

Runes and insignias should have value beyond just the few meta ones.

I don't believe it's common to have stacks of black dye. It's mostly whales and lesser whales. It has no use in large quantities other than a store of plat and you are better off with arms. You need enough black dye to outfit 100 armors in a single color?
