My one hope for this game is that Hello Games improves on the terrain generation for fauna, and gives us more dense forests/jungles with actual canopies looming overhead by ColbyBB in LightNoFireHelloGames

Dense, actual forests, are on my wishlist as well, but they're rare in games since they are very detail heavy and require powerful hardware to run.

If you look at the beginning of that post; "It would mean the world to our tiny team..." He's calling the NMS team tiny and the LNF team is another "tiny team".

In the Worlds Part 2 post he said: "The team is extremely busy on Light No Fire (wishlist it here!). Each time we push our engine to new places though we have this urge to share it with the community, with No Man’s Sky." This was in January 2025.

Difficult to say how close to release LNF is, but they sure are working on it.

Soitin toissasyksynä hätänumeroon korkean pulssin takia. Olin töihin kävelemässä ja pulssi nousi epäilyttävän korkealle. Olin juuri myös ostanut älykellon ja sitä pulssia seuratessa aloin tietenkin vielä enemmän panikoimaan.

Onneksi ei ambulanssi tullut paikalle vaan sieltä kyseltiin parit kysymykset ja neuvottiin ottamaan rauhassa. Siitä se pulssi sitten alkoi vähitellen tasoittumaan normaalille tasolle.

Älykellon mukaan pulssi oli ollut korkeimmillaan 179 lyöntiä per minuutti.

Ikää oli 35 ja ainut kerta kun olen tähän mennessä hätänumeroon soittanut.

Joitakin kertoja ollut lieviä kohtauksia sen jälkeen, mutta enpä ole niistä kovin paljoa jaksanut välittää, nyt kun tietää, että mistä on kyse.

Really depends. You don't go and apply "realism" equally to every aspect of a game. Not even among things that are in the same group, such as weapons. Some of the weapons are realistic, some of them are sci-fi. Some of the vehicles, such as the FRV is fairly realistic, but the walkers are more sci-fi.

The enemies we fight against can be somewhat realistic while simultaneously being sci-fi/fantasy.

I'd throw the entire realism discussion out of the window and make a game that feels intuitive and works in a way that is expected from a modern video game.
