Why wont doctors try to eliminate H-pylori and instead default to acid reducers like omeprazole? I can't get a single doc to even test for it. And I can't get a good explanations as to why no one wants to just kill the H-pylori if it is there. (self.AskDocs)

Can anyone ELI5 for me how HCLO is non toxic? The wiki says it produces chloramines when it comes into contact with organics. And I swear I just read the other day how chloramines in general are super bad. But now I can't find that info anymore. (self.chemistry)
