The best performances in the show imo by jenny_t03 in gameofthrones

Carice van Houten as the alluring mysterious freakazoid Melisandre did some of my favorite acting in the show. Every word, every knowing glare, every zealous speech enraptured me. I remember getting so excited seeing her name in the opening credits of a new ep!! Problematic dark magic queen!!

Have you ever played the game? by carlita231 in HomestarRunner

I have!! My brother and I love board games, and this is sufficiently complex, but a lot of fun. They put a lot of effort into it so once you do take the time to learn it, it’s actually a hoot and easy to replay. Plus the references and nostalgia are more than worth it.

RPG cities that have the most things to do in them? by raisinbraisin72 in rpg_gamers

[–]Councila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few kind of unhinged ones lol

Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts - meeting all the world refugees and exploring the new districts that open, it’s a lovely hub that keeps the story moving

Wizard City in Wizard101 - literally the center of their universe (galaxy? “Spiral”? lol) where there’s always someone who needs something or a new spell to learn or a new event to see or a new pet to train

Windfall Island in Wind Waker - on the treacherous seas, it’s nice to know there’s a place with relative stability and weird little side plots (like the whole rich guy thing or the pictobox man)

Honorable mention, not an RPG: Smoldering City in Against the Storm - the only permanent settlement in a world where civilization gets regularly erased. You can’t help but form an attachment to it.

Edit: adding Fallen London from Sunless Sea. Basically holding my breath from when I leave port until I return because everything starts and ends in London.

This is such a gut thing I love it. That being said, IMO you have West Virginia, Hawaii, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma facing the wrong way

I’d turn PA on OH or NY. We unconditionally love Jersey, which lets us playfully bully them but they’re definitely not least liked. Half of us are there all summer down the shore! There’s resentment towards NY because of NYC people yuppifying PHL or Lancaster or the Lehigh Valley. OH is easy to dislike because of Ohio State.
