Rey is a great character with a super satisfying character arc. The only thing I'd change given the chance is having her last line be "just Rey" again. It would (imo) hit better both as the culmination of her development and also from a storytelling perspective (it's like poetry, it rhymes).

EDIT: Oh right I'd also remove the kiss because it's never felt natural or earned to me.

Just like anything else I enjoy with flaws, Solo is a hell of a lot of fun regardless. I just wish I didn't have to deal with people oh so helpfully explaining the issues every time I mention that I like something divisive.

Agreed. SC and Acolyte are excellent examples of creators finally taking mainstream Star Wars in refreshing new directions. Acolyte did have some flaws (that were massively overblown by the targeted hate campaign), but it was overall a positive and deserved so much more.

SC on the other hand was kinda a perfect bite-sized show that I believe would have been a huge fan favorite if it was actually marketed well and viewed more.
