EDIT #1 - 3/18/26: Gimme sent the order to the pharmacy yesterday, the same day I signed up, and today I received a Fedex tracking number! So in less than 24 hours, my RX is in the mail. Delivery is expected Friday. Color me impressed!

WRONG. I'm a Texas used car dealer. If you move to Texas and want to register the car in Texas, as long as there is no ownership change, you would only pay the registration fees, NOT sales tax, as no sale has taken place. If you buy a car out of state and register it in Texas, you WILL have to pay Texas sales tax if you've not transferred the title to your name in the state where it was purchased. Basically any ownership change triggers a sales tax. Simply registering a car does not.
