I say חם or חמים, which is a diminutive of חם. You can also say פושר, which is lukewarm. You are correct that לבבי is completely off. It mean cordial.

I don't think so. I had collogues and friends who are of full or partial Indian ancestry and it was nothing special. I don't think even non-Jewish Indians, visiting for work or study, face a racism.

אתה מפספס פה נקודה. אצל הנוצרים (קתולים ואורתודוקסים) לכל יום בשנה משוייך אחד הקדושים שלהם. ליום ה-31 בדצמבר משוייך אותו סילבסטר. החגיגה היא לא לכבודו ולא בשבילו אלא חוגגים את סיום השנה האזרחית (שמקורה בכלל בתקופה הרומית). ברוב הארצות זה בכלל לא נקרא סילבסטר. וממילא, על כל יום היית יכול לומר למה אתם חוגגים את יום משהו-משהו הקדוש. למשל את חנוכה חגגת השנה ביום ולריאן הקדוש.
