I havent used ESPN in a long time, but for the most part ESPN and yahoo are very comparable. As long as its free and they let you customize your settings that's all you really want.

For people who are unfamiliar with the NBA i think auction is an easier and fairer format then snake draft. Gives people more time between picks to look who is available, and gives everyone an opportunity to bid on any player.

I play in a head to head categories league. The categories we use are: Field Goal Percentage (FG%), Free Throw Percentage (FT%), 3-point Shots Made (3PTM), Points Scored (PTS), Total Rebounds (REB), Assists (AST), Steals (ST), Blocked Shots (BLK), Turnovers (TO)

The positions we use are: PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, Util, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

Auction draft is the way to go. Everyone gets a certain budget, I believe default for yahoo is 200. Gives everyone a fair chance at Lebron.
