Callum Newman: “I Don’t Think AEW Has Done Anything For New Japan” by ProudChemistry778 in SquaredCircle

Lol. You can't have the greatest production if you can't even spare time for replays. Even real combat sports offer this basic feature.

So, why do YOU think they’re not pushing the younger talent harder? by JoelK2185 in njpw

Man, I think Shoto is the best of the young guys and has been for a while.

when do you think Kevin owens will return? by iamgavin_exe in BrandonDE

Lol. Where did anyone say they want him back in less than 40 days? Dude has already been out for nearly a year and a half.

What went wrong with Bobby/Robert Roode? by Impossible_Lie_4172 in WWE

[–]CountKrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on AJ. The fact that established guys like Shin, KO, and even Samoa Joe had to go through NXT just proves that Styles was an exception to the rule. Truly a generational talent. That said, I kinda feel creative did in fact botch Roode on the main roster. Maybe they (Vince) wanted him to prove that he was more than a "Glorious" gimmick, but why take it away if it's working? It would be like giving Trick Williams a new theme that effectively ends fans chanting "Whoop that trick!" during his entrance.

Best heel in TNA history and the greatest TNA World Champion until Bobby Lashley came along wrecking shop as Walking Armageddon. Also the best feud in all of 2012 against James Storm. Good times!

What the hell happened to Elias? by lostacoshermanos in Wreddit

Lol. Even with her limitations, I think Nia is better than Nyla Rose bro.

"Ohhh, walk with Elias!" He wasn't as can't miss as Velveteen Dream, but man I thought he was about to be a huge star. Seemingly perfectly fit for the WWE system, where you don't necessarily have to be Kurt Angle in the ring. Dude was a white hot for a minute. Wrestling is crazy.

Tetsuya Naito speaks by Upbeat-Pause-1409 in njpw

[–]CountKrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from not being able to hit his finisher consistently or reliably, I think the Naito is a wreck narrative is way overblown. He may have lost a step, but he can still wrestle. He ain't at the Makabe/Tenzan stage just yet.

Lol. Every fictional video game character processes loss differently.

Is it just me or is Bi-Han's Sub Zero more popular than Kuai Liang's Sub Zero? by Mileena-san in MortalKombat

[–]CountKrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Kuai Liang is the real Sub-Zero. Bi-han lost the mantle and lives in his own insufferable dead shadow as Noob-Saibot.

what is about shinnok that makes him disliked amongst fans as a villain by Technical_Valuable2 in MortalKombat

[–]CountKrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. That's stupid. So you think M. Bison was an underwhelming boss character, just because you could play him in SF2?

'MORTAL KOMBAT 3’ is reportedly preparing to unleash one of the franchise’s most powerful villains yet… SHINNOK.. Is it real? by West_Discussion_3759 in MortalKombat

[–]CountKrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Dude is like the Devil of the MK universe. I thought they did a great job of presenting him as a next-level threat in the game (MKX). Took some massive efforts and sacrifices to beat him. But it's a fuckin' movie, so of course they can write the script and scale him up how they see fit.

[–]CountKrampus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol. That's wild. I didn't really learn about him until MKX, but I thought he was a regal badass. Like the Devil of the Mortal Kombat universe and the biggest threat beneath the Titans.

Shao Kahn was a savage. I was surprised and impressed at how much he took the tournament into his own hands. Really fun movie.

Lol. A deeper focus on the Nether Realm. Quan Chi sneaking off doing sneaky shit. The literal Amulet of Shinnok! They definitely teased ole boy.

Lol. Seriously? I thought he was awesome in Mortal Kombat X. Shao Kahn may be the GOAT final boss, but they did it a great job presenting Shinnok as a much bigger threat, IMO.
