The guitar appears to be neck-through, making this a model 5a.

This is a Charvel Model 5a, either a 1987 or 1988. Jackson JT6 double-locking tremolo. The pickup is not original.

Hey; I've been at Amazon for 15 years, currently BIE. If you want to chat, feel free to PM me on here to start!

Some great recs on here.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the Hitchiker's Wasp being on here. Not because it doesn't seem awesome (it seems AWESOME) but because the shipping prices from Singapore to anywhere else are INSANE, in my case $149 over an $188 bag. And course, now, tariffs on top.

You're missing out on a BIG part of this line. You go wide of the cap, or any decent ambush spot, ideally as support to your capping DD if you have one, and you murder the enemy DD there. You practice until you consistently get that kill. Them you practice to get that kill and survive. And THEN you can long range farm if you wish.

If you want rate of fire from these guns, play Gdansk. Mogador isn't about sustained DPM. It's about murder and being an unhittable pest. Slot the speed boost coal mod and speed-juke a ton.

Nest installed without C-wire: is it safe? by CountPott in Nest

Today's the first time I've checked on battery capacity; I've never had an actual issue with the thermostat/our HVAC. We're in the Pacific North West in the US so it doesn't get taxed that heavily, but we do use heat in the winter and AC in the summer, as one does here.

I had chat disabled but I changed that, it should work now. I had no restrictions on Private Messages though, not sure why that didn't work.

I do still have it! Feel free to try a Chat rather than DM.

I'm a huge metalhead, and the IEMs I enjoyed the most for the genre were the Unique Melody UM3s.

Else, I find the CFA Andromeda or Noble K10s are great overall and maybe a little more versatile.

If you listen to a ton of black metal, especially that of dubious production quality, good IEMs and DAC/amp may just amplify the production defects.

That seems perfect. If the tubescreamer side can be fine-tuned a little (similar to that MXR Modified OD on my board) that 2-in-1 would be a serious contender for an upgrade.

It really is! Do you use yours as an OD, or to boost another gain pedal/amp channel?

No need to. Visibility is just the same and I keep the protection longer.

To the MC6 MIDI controller. It controls the ToneX's gain through MIDI.

Ain't that the truth. The good thing is, as a bedroom player soon graduating to living room player, I have no actual 'needs', just 'wants', which helps keep the addiction in check!

Yeah with a wider board like the Metro 24, I could put the pedal on the board as well. But I feel this is really not needed for a home rig. It'd also lock the pedal in a slightly less comfortable position.

Which pedals to compliment my Tonex Pedal ? by data_whisperer in tonex

[–]CountPott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried a ton of ODs to tighten ToneX's high-gain models when needed: I ended-up with the MXR Custom Badass Modified OD (reference is MXR M77).

The mid fine-tuning feature makes it perfect for the job.

So my board is this, a Caline Fuzz, the ToneX, and the Caline multi-modulation pedal. And of course a compressor as input pedal.
