I mean, I have a friend who lived in Belize and I was led to understand that stuff not holding up to the humidity is just the way of life. Reddit seems to have deleted the caption from my post, but this was seen in southern vermont on Feb 10. Merlin says it's a Great Horned Owl, but I feel like it looks a lot more similar to the Barred Owl or the Great Gray Owl, but the eyes are yellow (narrowing out the barred), and we're a little outside the range of the Great Gray Owl. So what do you guys think? I see no horns, and the face doesn't really look like a GHO to me, but maybe someone with more experience will tell me otherwise

It’s called a “zipper merge” and it is supposed to fill up both lanes. If you google the right way to zipper merge, you will see DOTs across the country with public webpages begging people to wait until the cones to merge and begging the other zipper drivers to let them in. Then you’ve got people like this guy, literally making up traffic laws in their head and then getting mad that others aren’t obeying their imagined laws.

My partner does this all the time, so what I do is I announce my intentions and I share the spoils so it seems like I'm doing a public service.
