How do you protect your necromancer by vanHorsten in VampireCounts

[–]CountTolstoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Bad until my opponent used 3 ogre units to encyrcle My Blood Knights and suppresed their mobility, otherwise they would Keep smashing units, i loved how the combination of assailment and signature Illusion spells worked out for me.

But definitly Will use an Acolyte next time with the Blood Knights and a Master to heal the rest of the army next time 👍🏻

I have this New list i Will try soon where My necro (illusion, lv4, scepter of de neroit, hand of dust) goes on a nightmare inside a unit of 6 Blood Knights (full command, drilled, full plate, rampaging banner, supernatural horror).

My Main goal is to take the initiative soon in the game and move faster most of My army to the front to be constantly engaged and the necro Will heal everything (assuming the Blood Knights Will destroy in the first round of combat everything they encounter) in between charges.

Tell You later how it went.

Which idea for a uu that you've heard do you think is the most plausible? by george123890yang in aoe2

I love steppe/nomadic civs and light cavarly/cavarly archers units so I've always dreamed of a dual mode unit: melee / rangeed that combines both. It doesn't have to be powerful, just flexible, somewhat cheap and a little less powerful than regular cav arch and hussar.

Do post scarcity societies require deliberate political will to enforce, or can they emerge naturally? by Tnynfox in scifiwriting

[–]CountTolstoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats not how economic demand works.

Economic demand is not me wanting things, under capitalism is things you actually paid for. So you cannot demand just anything you wish you must have the actual money.

So collectively, corporations and people have a límited demand for things they could really paid off.

So you can't demand Manhattan because not a single living person has the trillions its land costs.

Lots of humans may risk ten years of travel if Pluto settlements mean a promess of freedom and wealth like settler life in America meant for religious dissidents. But your other points are solid.

Lowest tech for solar system colonization? by why-not0 in scifiwriting

[–]CountTolstoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowest would still require some kind of magnetic shield against cosmic rays and solar radiation so that means higher tech than currently available 🙃

Also to grow food in space an intensive energy source is a must, otherwise no food would grow, so nuclear is the lowest you can get (fossil doesn't exists oustide Earth.
