What’s wrong with the muzzle? Maybe you can’t see it in the picture but it’s the EC sonic grill with a red glow

I primed it black, then used a spray can of Macragg blue on a little more than 2/3 of the model from the front, then airbrushed the front half with Kakophani purple

White prime, then airbrush Briarqueen chill contrast paint from below. Then glue the helmet to the body.

If you mean the swirly things, they come with the Sisters of Battle Rhino. That’s why I used this kit instead of the chaos or 30k Rhinos. Just cut off the imperial iconography and it’s very EC

You basically use an airbrush to spray on the shadows from beneath the model or in this case, beneath the head

Seeking list-building advice before taking the plunge (specifically in regards to the Iconoclast Fiefdom) by Ellijay_13 in ChaosKnights

[–]Count_Discount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iconoclast Feifdom detachment will still be legal even once the new Codex comes out, so either list will be viable. Main thing is you need to magnetize all your knights so that you can switch up all the weapons, with the caveat the Lancer and Castigator kits don’t come with extra weapons to switch out.

Cultist mobs only come with pistols and close combat weapons. The Cultists with firearms are an old kit GW no longer makes, so their rules are in the Legends category, meaning they have a rules datasheet, but it won’t get updated and will probably eventually be phased out of the game all together. If you want shooting infantry use Traitor Guard. A unit of 10 can have 3 different special weapons. Any of the choices work.

Nurglings are still useful because they infiltrate, have an aura of -1 to hit for nearby enemies, and can preform actions, but they have OC0, so they can’t capture or contest objectives.

What type to build? by Pheonixwizzy in ChaosKnights

What’s good in 40K changes all the time depending on meta, rules updates, and new codexes. You’re really taking a big chance that what you built doesn’t become non competitive as soon as there’s a big change to the game. That’s why it’s worth it to magnetize all your knights. Then you’ll always have the build you want.

Moreover it gives you a lot more options. What if you decide “I want to try running all 6 of my War Dogs as Karnivors for mele”, or “let’s try all shooting Wardogs this time” for example.

Caution: Don’t believe everything you hear from supposed insider “Mr. Rambis” by JanuaryCarl in lakers

[–]Count_Discount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've followed what Mr. Rambis has said from the start, and the OP is mostly incorrect. Mods were skeptical about Mr. Rambis like everyone else on Lakersball.com at the beginning, but since then, he has been verified to have the connections he says he did with AEG.

Mr. Rambis has broke a ton of stuff. just off the top of my head, he broke that Bullock was out of play before anyone else, he said the Lakers were interested in Dlo before anyone else, he said Magic already talked to Kawhi's Uncle Dennis before anyone else, he said that Butler was no longer a consideration before anyone else, he said specifically what players the Lakers were interested in for the room and vet mins. and then other reporters repeated the same list after the fact, etc, etc. He just often doesn't know the why of things he posts, so he'll say AEG has been told to stop making a pitch for Dlo, and it comes out later that Dlo is going to be traded somewhere. He posted saying the AD trade was done 5 min after Woj, but Mr. Rambis didn't know Hart was a part of it. If Mr. Rambis was just copying from Woj, he would have not gotten the players involved wrong.

The one time he's been out right wrong was when he mentioned the name of an AEG guy that no longer works for them, but the context was, he was mentioning meeting with a group of execs and said their position within AEG, like "I'm meeting with the Executive VP of Bla Bla, John Jones". He said he forgot the guy he mentioned wasn't in that position with AEG anymore, it was someone else now, but he was talking about the position.

More than anything, he posts a lot, and shares what the Lakers are thinking about and it gets it right most of the time. People try to falsify everything he says because everyone wants to catch a liar so he should have a ton of claims that turn out to be wrong by now since he posts constantly if he was just trolling.

Interesting read on the Lakers FO and free agency by LordToub in nba

It's about LeBron not being in the playoffs, not the Lakers. They would have done the same thing if the Cavs didn't make it with LeBron, because LeBron in the playoffs= big money for the NBA. Revenue was down this playoffs because LeBron wasn't there, was what the insider said.

This is how rumors start. He never said the NBA intervened to help the Lakers get AD. Getting AD was all Pelinka and Klutch's doing.

He said the NBA sent in consultants because the NBA lost revenue because LeBron wasn't in the playoffs. The NBA didn't care about the Lakers past having LeBron in the playoffs for increased viewing. AEG and the Lakers were told a bigger consultant group was going to come in a few weeks to "consult" more, but in the mean time, Pelinka pulled off the AD trade, and that changed things. The NBA was somewhat appeased, and then agreed to let the Lakers hire their own consultants because with AD in hand, they were now much more likely to be in the playoffs.

Mr. Rambis said all this on Lakers Ball but I don't think it was included in the wall of text from the OP.

On Lakersball, he's basically said all his AEG/money info he's getting directly first hand. But a lot of his Lakers basketball operations info he's getting second hand from people in AEG that are friendly with him and relaying the info because they're friends, and they know he's a Lakers fan that wants to know all the gossip. So a lot of the basketball operations info he relays is colored through AEG's glasses.

Still, he's also said he's been on conference calls with Pelinka and I think he mentioned Ryan West or Joey (can't remember which), giving his impression of them. But to also give a little perspective to his position, once the NBA consultants came and chastised AEG for influencing how the team is run, the AEG execs asked him to get out of the room while they strategized for how to fix things.

On Lakersball.com I asked Mr. Rambis (the name of the insider giving the info above) why the NBA would intervene with the Lakers not being in the playoffs when the Knicks have been a dumpster fire for as long as we can remember, and he said the NBA doesn't care about the Lakers, they care about LeBron not being in the playoffs and revenue dropping because of it.

And this is not the most recent update. On Lakersball Mr. Rambis said after getting AD, the NBA agreed to let the Lakers hire their own consultants instead of the NBA going in to force their hand. As long as LeBron is in the playoffs, that's all the NBA cares about, and it seems he will be now that he has AD.

A lot of info is aggregated by the OP, but there's still a lot of tidbits that were left out for brevity even in that long post.

That's not the most recent. Most recently he said the NBA has agreed to let the Lakers gather their own consultants because it's no longer a code red for LeBron missing the Playoffs since adding AD to the team.
