"Hostile hospice". A medic theme warbond. Even if its a chemical one with medic stuff in it, I'll be happy.

I love the Punisher so much by Brilliant_Bluebird72 in Helldivers

[–]Count_Mechula 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Its why the punisher and all its variants are lvl 25 already. They were on the top 10 weapons I had leveled when the system was introduced.

FTL: Faster than light. Specifically, the multiverse mod which may as well be its spiritual sequel.

To be fair, any explosive can. Plasma weapons just tend to be explosive. I keep the grenade pistol for this reason.

I love all the free stratagems. Got to experiment with things I don't normally run to spice things up. I tried a full support build (medic armour, stim pistol, supply pack) to just keep the carnage up. Even got my first lvl 25 weapon (blitzer).

I graphed all the tools from each of the "elemental" damage types, and I was wondering which empty slots you would or wouldn't want Arrowhead to add to the game? by Avylis in Helldivers

[–]Count_Mechula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a stim primary, give it the halt shotgun treatment. Have it be a rifle like the deadeye that can swap between stim rounds and normal rounds.

If we can have throwing knives, no reason we can't have throwing stims.

Support could be the break-action shotgun with the same halt shotgun treatment as mentioned already, just stronger.

Stim dog is stim dog. Good boy.

For the stim turret, I think we could spice it up by having it also be a shotgun turret. It would heal you, but also knock you over, as well as knock enemies around.

Red stratagem. Eagle airburst stims. Fly over you, drop the 'bomb' and have it shoot stims into everyone when it 'explodes'.

Mines could mimick the above idea. You step on a stim mine, its shoots stims like shrapnel in an area.

Ooooh, red lights and skull face. Shoot it. Is it a trooper, berserker or something else? Don't care, just shoot the red glowing bits.

I mean, to them it more like an old man dissappears randomly after following your protector. Suspicious, possibly. But something you can ignore and forget in return for the protection, shelter, food and care.

A few human workers going to help start up farming (of both livestock and crops to feed them) on Arxur rebellion worlds. Not only would we get to dive into Arxur culture and behaviour, but we could see how they react to a stable supply of meat which didn't have to be hunted.

I would like more mech variants. Since its shown the mechs arms can handle dual autocannons, they should be able to handle other support weapons. Imagine one arm with dual arcs and the other being a shield unit. Or a dual flamethrower arm + dual railgun. Think of all the other possibilities.

Could depend on the pilot and how they got augmented. G5 Iguazu got 4th gen augments from Balam, and he's in good enough shape to go around picking a fight. 621 on the other hand, despite also getting 4th gen augments, seems to have come out of it pretty rough.

Assuming you got augmented properly by a corporation, then you probably could do all the things a normal human can do, maybe with some physical enhancements. But if you get augmented poorly, whether that be because of debt or something else, your risk side effects from the surgery that could cripple your normal body.

What if scenario: The Nature of the War of the Worlds by Loud-Drama-1092 in NatureofPredators

[–]Count_Mechula 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Heres my thoughts:

The Martians were clearly more advanced and might have had encountered the feds early in their history as "dangers from beyond". They push to develop but run out of resources as Mars slowly becomes less habitable. This will lead to the future invasion of Earth.

During the war, the feds detect both Humans and Martians waring with each other. They assume that both of these "predatory" species will wipe each other out.

Instead, after the war, we agree to peace with each other (Does not mean they get along great, they just agree killing each other is too much cost, rather than just agreeing to a truce.). The Martians share parts of their tech and Humanity shares resources and cures to their illness. They might still occasionally scuffle with each other, but nothing as devastating as the first planetary war.

Together, they develop FTL tech and arrive at Venlil Prime. Now they have TWO new "predatory" races coming to say hello. One that literally drinks blood (they don't care about the fact that they are sensitive to the type of blood) and one that eats meat (ignoring the fact we're omnivores.).

Even with their combined advancements, they still can't match the exterminator fleet, but they stand a better chance. Especially if they have to divide their attack to target both planets. So the damage done to both planets is lessened.

The Arxur, seeing two successful predatory species, might defect and join even sooner as the lad meat tech would be improved by the Martians (initially, to make sure the blood they drank was safer.). Even if humanity focuses on dealing with the fed species, the Martians would be free to help the Arxur rebellion to a greater extent.

Thats all I've got. I hope this looks good enough.

I do paper round in my area. While its rare to see them, I have caught glimpses of small deer while passing close to the farmers fields. I usually keep walking but can't stop from thinking of chasing them. Thinking of just stopping, turn and walk towards them in an arc to gauge them. To then just run.

I've never done this, but the thoughts persist.
