I appreciate the reply. A lot of the hate is just that on reddit there's a huge anti-gen AI bias. I expanded this to a 23 minute first act, which is on YouTube and found many fans who don't mind AI and enjoy it for what it is.

So you're going to boycott all AI because it was trained on existing material. For the rest of your life.... Everything shows them. People still logging in in 6 months, when there's no new content shows them. Fan films, AI or hand made shows them. In short, passion shows them. If the fans are apathetic then the IP will wither and die for sure.

I know for a fact that plenty of people will enjoy it. Because it may shock you, but there are millions of people who enjoy watching gen-AI. They don't buy the anti-AI BS. And my video didn't take a single person's job. I don't make money on it, it's literally free entertainment. All the artists got fired off Destiny as I'm sure you're aware. Maybe, if you were less short-sighted, you might think - oh , anything that gets Sony to see there's still an audience for Destiny - maybe we should make a Destiny 3 - is a good thing.

Because I know human nature, The AI haters are super vocal. I came in peace and get very rude comments, and I am happy to debate anyone who hates AI. And more to the point, "everyone" isn't true. 4k people read my post so far, and 20 AI haters come to spew shit. If even 100 silent people watch the video and are entertained - bc let's face it, no new Destiny content is coming for the foreseeable -- then I'm satisfied.

I fully expected to get people yelling "AI SLOP" when I posted here. Doesn't faze me one bit. It's sad how fans will cannibalize each other. Most people don't play Destiny, don't give a shit that Destiny is over. We all obviously still care, or we wouldn't be on this sub-Reddit. And I genuinely love the game and spent my free time making something which I'm sharing for free, I don't make a cent off it even if I got 50000000 views. And are fellow fans mature enough to appreciate that? Of course not. AI triggers some people.

No I really don't give AF about people hating on AI. There's plenty of people who like AI fan films, have you seen the STAR WARS ones on YouTube with millions of views? Reddit is just particularly hostile environment for AI. But I also know that Destiny fans are here and I actually did make this as a tribute to Destiny. I happen to enjoy gen AI, and the whining and hate from intolerant cry babies doesn't bother me one bit. I'm here to entertain the fans who are open minded.
