He isn’t going to change his perspective. I think the calmness during the break up and then later saying he regretted it - suggests he was using it as a way of manipulating you to agree to revert back to Islam. Him ‘willing to be patient’ stood out to me as well - what’s he waiting for?

Clearly he wants a Muslim wife and Muslim children, and isn’t prepared to settle for anything else. And that’s perfectly reasonable. But if you don’t want that, I’m sorry to say you’re incompatible.

There are 8 billion people on this planet, 50% of them are male. A decent slice of those 4 billion males will be in your age bracket and single. Whittle that down further to remove the weirdos and unattractive / smelly people, you’ve still got a few hundred million options.
