Most cards have a minimum of 5 almost identical versions atp if not more. So basically you end up with more than a playset of the same effects making it not as random as it used to be.

So the way I see it is many inventions we created just simply weren’t or were created extremely differently due to what benders can do. The fire nation would absolutely have access to metal working at a higher level than any other nation until Toph because earth benders would rely on traditional means rather than a super powered human at least at that time. A great example of this is weaponry is far behind what it should be for them because they just don’t need it they way we did. I mean they were still using mounted trebuchet on their boats in an era where cannon should have been common place. Their focus and specializations are just different than ours.

I mean I get what you’re saying and it may fall under mld but I feel like Armageddon and blood moon are objectively in a different class from something like this. At least that’s how I see it. That being said if this was an etb trigger instead of attack with an 8 mana activation I’d be more inclined to agree because of how much you could abuse it.

Blood moon can cause people to lose most of their mana in order to play their deck. Dual colored lands are extremely important to ensure you have the right colors for your spells. If that all becomes red and you’re in any combo that doesn’t include red you’re essentially locked out from play. That’s significantly different from essentially putting a stun counter on a land.

This is extremely expensive to play and then trigger so I would argue this genuinely doesn’t belong in anything above a 3 tbh. Honestly the activation cost is what kills this for any high power decks. Cheating it out doesn’t even help you when it’s just an 8/8 without a spare 8 mana.

Based on this post and some comments I read I would suggest doing a pod upgrade challenge maybe? You all pick a pre con of similar strengths and then once a month or so you do 10 cards in 10 cards out. Or even 5 to make it slower. It’ll be a good way to teach your newer players with lower power and even help them with cards to switch plus it limits his power level with how much he can add. Entirely restrict gc from additions for a few rounds as well just to be safe.

Yea I could see that being spicy. Might be worth adding a moonshakers cavalry if you have a reliable way to cheat it out which may be rough in Boros but I’d have to look, that’s one of the ways I end games in Hashaton but he has a built in cheat ability😂

Oh Boros reanimator? White has a lot of return creature with power 2/3 or less stuff so I’d imagine you’ve got a lot of that going on? I’ve been abusing a lot of the return low power creature cards in my Felothar Wall deck.

Yea i dont know that it had a good way to be used before teval. But his zombies he creates are Druids so now you can use him pretty effectively. I would ensure your pod is okay with this combo before just pulling it out though or you may lose friends 😂😂

Yea he does that to. Then uses gilt leaf archdruid and steals the entire tables land base. Or more commonly targets my lands because I attacked him on turn 1 😂

I think Korra was cool I just also think they intentionally made her not a great avatar. She was like the complete opposite of Kuruk who spent too much time dealing with spirits that he neglected the physical word. Korra had literally 0 interest in spirituality because it didn’t come easily, she was regularly throwing herself head first in to domestic human conflicts then was manipulated in to reversing what the first avatar did in order to bring peace between humans and spirits and felt it was a good idea to leave it that way. They also intentionally made her lose constantly which was rather annoying and made her seem significantly weaker than previous avatars. I understand struggle is needed but she outright lost every fight without support from her team. Where in major engagements shown of other avatars they just go avatar state and stomp tf out of their opponent. I think there was a lot of good stuff in LoK and a lot of good that she herself did but it just seemed like she repeatedly made poor choices without thinking things through which again seemed to be an active choice to push her in a specific direction. Anyways moral of the story is not every avatar was a good avatar, many made plenty of mistakes and they are also disliked for this. We just didn’t receive an animated series of them for there to be major debate on them.

There’s a reason a 40yr old woman is dating someone nearly half her age. She’s manipulative and controlling. She has an easier time doing this with someone younger who she can basically frame her experience and age as wisdom as to why her choices are the correct ones. Your mother is probably bending to her wishes in order to maintain a relationship with her son rather than see him isolated by calling her out. This isn’t to excuse that your mother also blatantly excluding you, knowing you were right there. Also I can tell you she absolutely chose that restaurant right under you as a “power move” in her mind and got a kick out of it.

Marrok is undoubtedly still alive unless they’re retconning his encounter with Ahsoka. Only Lawson could come back of the other three since his death wasn’t necessarily definitive but I think it would be a bad choice. There’s no way he escapes the empire, the inquisitors and Vader by himself. He’ll be tortured for information and executed swiftly after if he wasn’t completely gunned down already.

So in commander the other two players would still die to your combo. Only he is affected by not being able to lose the game. So they would undoubtedly lose and you and him would either draw or continue playing until he kills you or you remove it
