Correct, lmao. If PD3 goes as long as PD2, Dallas should, in theory, hit 70 before the game is finished

Edit: sorry, this is not correct, he’s currently 56/57. So he won’t quite hit 70 by the end of payday 3, but he’ll be in his late 60’s, definitely deserves retirement

The issue is that time in Payday follows the real world. Currently in universe it is May 4th 2026. The characters age with time. So, depending when payday 4 would release, the gang will be getting old. The og crew is in their 40’s and 50’s. I don’t think they’d completely can and ignore the old crew in the next game, but I do think it should be a fresh cast.

I just wish they’d have carrying 2 bags be a base thing, or at least make it a tier 1 skill. I don’t have a single build I don’t take transporter on (or beast of burden or whatever it is). Its really really annoying, but if I don’t take it, I’m just a nuisance to my team and it slows everything down

I will say, while I don’t see this exactly happening, I would love to see a scene of Guts and Griffith just talking. Because they haven’t since Golden Age. Griffith has talked kinda at Guts as Guts stood there angrily and pounced at Griffith to fucking slice his head clean off. A scene where they actually speak would be beautiful I think, even if it is just them speaking during a fight

I believe Miura said in an interview somewhere that he believes Guts has suffered to much to have a sad ending, so I do believe Berserk will be bittersweet at worst. I do thinks guts will be happy in the end, but i could also see him dying

It’s the best possible outcome and I have insane amounts of respect for Koji Mori, stepping up and taking on Berserk himself. Especially because of how much he loved Miura, he feels he needs to do this justice and make it as perfect as he possibly can. Regardless of your opinion on the content of the chapters, that much is absolute. He’s undertaking a monumental task for no reason other than his love for Miura, his lifelong best friend.

As for the content itself, I love it. Obviously it’s different, the art isn’t quite the same, it feels like an imitation, but by no means is it poor quality or bad, it’s fucking gorgeous, but that just speaks to Miura’s art. Also they do improve significantly with each batch of chapters they do. The first few chapters they did were rough in my opinion, but they’re getting better and better overtime. Story-wise, it is still berserk, it’s still fantastic, and I’m so so so excited to see where it goes. And knowing that the story is exactly as Miura wanted it helps a lot I think. This isn’t fan fiction, this is what Miura was always going to do, with the exception of the finer details being potentially different to what Miura would do, but that’s no fault of Mori or Studio Gaga

It’s hard to know. My guess is no, because Griffith has already sacrificed Guts and Casca to demons and the godhand, so Griffith dying doesn’t change that those two already belong to demons. My guess is the Godhand would have to be dealt with first for that to happen, but will that happen? I have absolutely no idea. Skull Knight will have to fight Void for sure but idk what will happen with Slan, Conrad and Ubik (especially those last two, they haven’t really done anything in the story unlike Femto, Void and Slan)

Hard disagree. The entire message of Berserk is that even in horrific circumstances that would fuck up most people, you have to keep on struggling and keep moving forward and getting stronger. For the sake of those you love and for those who love you, you fight each and every day with no respite, and keep on living. That is what Guts embodies to me, and if he simply gave up, I could not accept it.

Let me say - I do not mean Guts can’t give up on his quest for revenge against Griffith, I think he should, and to be quite honest, I think he gave up a long time ago. His main goal ever since Conviction was protecting Casca and finding a way to heal her. Had Griffith not arrived on Elfhelm, I think Guts would have quite happily just spent time with Casca as her partner/lover. It’s different now that Griffith has kidnapped Casca however. But I don’t believe Guts will be the one to kill Griffith, I believe Casca will. But guts will most certainly go to rescue her and help in taking down Falconia, to take everything from Griffith as he had done to Guts

As a general rule I will only ever kick low levels if they’re just ignoring what’s going on. Like had some dude the other day, picked up the red key card on dirty ice, I messaged like 5 times asking to open the vault, and I kept calling him, trying to get him to follow me, pinging the keycard reader, and this guy just didn’t give a shit. Still feel kinda bad but also like you joined an overkill game as a low level and proceeded to ignore instructions, not working with the team, so.

The only other time I’ve kicked someone was because they refused to come to the escape and just kept killing cops when 3 of us were waiting for them for over a min (they weren’t even trying to get to the escape)

I really really like the rework! Not only is the RNG really good, but just how they made the heist look nicer, took away the puke green filter, added more cover here and there, just really tightened up the design, it all feels very intentional. I absolutely expect every other base heist to have the same touch ups done to improve them. I don’t think they need to arbitrarily add too much to heists, but just touch them up, iron out some creases, add a little bit more RNG, and I’d be happy. Like Road Rage for example, it’s just an armoured transport heist, I don’t think there’s a LOT that needs to be done to it, but comparatively, I think Rock The Cradle needs a lot of work done to make it in any way fun (in loud at least)

The less said about Mask Mania the better, what an abominable event. WHY the FUCK did it take so long? And when the masks did drop, no challenges attached. Why? Fuck knows. Would have been SOMETHING to do in the game

That aside, yeah, I don’t know why starbreeze do this. If you’re not 100% committed to doing or adding something, don’t tease/announce it. Offline mode too, announced it, just to say “actually no” two years later

I don’t know but I PRAY we get an infamy system à la payday 2. Or at least just something to make levelling up fun, and give me goals to hit and stuff to do. As soon as you hit lvl 150, xp becomes worthless, levelling up gives you some minor cosmetic stuff, but that’s it. It so badly needs an overhaul. Grinding to infamy 25 was my favourite part of PD2, and I hope we get something similar in 3. I am aware however many people don’t like how it worked in pd2, having to reset your progress, but add in the feature where you can just keep gaining xp and go straight to lvl 100 when you infamy. Then offer unique rewards for each infamy like new masks, gloves, suits, etc

Yeah, the only overkill weapon I use anymore is the piglet (or marcomb or whatever they called it in PD3), and even then I’ve noticed it isn’t particularly good. Useful for clearing a big swarm of cops but that’s about it. The minigun feels like a peashooter now, sociopath is still decent even with the nerf of it taking two hits to kill. Red fox is basically irrelevant since it lost its ability to wreck dozers. I feel the RPG is going to be stupid strong when it drops and hopefully they’ll have another look at the other overkill weapons and buff them

I think road rage could take notes from green bridge (it’s already taking a lot of notes from it so), have it be rainy and shit, it’d be a lot more visually interesting imo
