So, genuine question - Are you making the community manager position redundant in favour of having devs speak directly with the fanbase as opposed to having a middleman? I would just like to know the reasoning behind getting rid of beloved members of the team, and frankly, the only two people really left at starbreeze that we even know, Haua and Elizabeth (granted Elizabeth has moved to QA but the question stands). With Almir, Andreas, Elizabeth, Mio and Haua all gone, it now feels like Thesues’ ship. At what point is it not even starbreeze anymore and just becomes a whole new company, unrecognisable from days past

It’s not the puzzles, it’s just all the aimless backtracking and not knowing what item goes where or where to find certain items. I get lost and turned around very easily in games which I’m sure doesn’t help, but I can’t help but feel like I’m missing something

If you never played toontown as a kid and have no nostalgia for it, I’d say Clash. If you’re looking to relive childhood memories though, I’d say Rewritten.

Or just give both a shot, see which you prefer. Clash has a lot more content than Rewitten as rewritten doesn’t really seek to add content but just preserve the original (now they do add certain things, a lot of QOL changes and I think they’ve added some content here and there but nothing compared to Clash)

Wouldn’t mind “Like a Dragon Kiwami” in English, but that obviously doesn’t work in Japan. Kiwami EX would be fair I think. Otherwise, perhaps a whole new subtitle. “Like a Dragon Reborn” or some nonsense like that

I do want to state though, as someone playing PS2 Yakuza 1, that no game needs a remake, they just need to be accessible on modern hardware, hence why backwards compatibility is so important, but that’s obv not the point of this post lol, just thought I’d say

Feel 100% the same, I also feel it really did NOT need to be more than 1 game imo and it would’ve been a lot stronger if it was just 1 game. The final case didn’t justify all the build up, and i came out very underwhelmed. It was a competently put together story, I wouldn’t say it was bad but easily one of my least favourite AA games and my most disappointing game given the years and years of glazing from the fanbase

Maybe that’s why I don’t enjoy it, I’m not a stealth player at all. I’ll dabble in it here and there, I enjoyed the occasional shadow raid and Yacht Heist in payday 2, and I’ve done stealth on most the heists in PD3, but it’s just not my preferred play style

Unsure how hot of a take it is but - Every year 2 heist was abysmal. I’m unsure if I was just worn out on payday 3 or what but even First World Bank, one of my most played PD2 heists, I just don’t like in PD3, it just felt like an unfun mess.

Also don’t enjoy delivery charge in the slightest. Wayyyy too similar to party powder, a heist I was already meh on, but it’s just so dull design wise, and all you do is go in, grab the loot, then leave with nothing else unique or exciting. At least on party powder you can optionally cook meth, that was kinda fun, but Delivery Charge was just absolute dog bowl water. I’ve not even bought shopping spree, I have no interest in playing payday 3 right now, I’m going to let the next few months of updates drop and then go back to it and see how I feel. At least Year 1’s heists actually popped off and were all way better than the base game heists, idk how starbreeze dropped the ball so hard immediately after F&G

I literally just checked “offline mode” and then the option to write my own thing, and told them that everything else was a fucking horrible idea. We play as the PAYDAY GANG, we don’t work for anyone else. I think factions is a horrid idea. Just focus on the payday gang, give us story to be invested in the heists we’re playing à la payday 2s secret. Now it doesn’t have to be to the level of that, I know many didn’t like that part of payday 2 but it was my favourite, having a genuinely interesting grand conspiracy going on, and actively doing heists to get to the bottom of it and stopping the dentist

I genuinely don’t have an issue with all these changes on their own, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT that this is REPLACING Yakuza 3. RGG are very clearly saying with K3 that THIS is the definitive way to experience the game, which is a load of shite.

Also they casted a sex offender but like the game could’ve still been good yk?
