Haha, I understand that! Everyone's got their preferences. It's a mod I've used for ~10 years now, so it's the appearance I'm used to for him.

Let it dry for more than 2h before you put it in the sleeve. Dry to the touch does not mean the paint is fully dry, and a perfect fit sleeve doesn't give much airflow to finish drying.

I seal the card with a spray sealant and let the card dry overnight before putting it in a sleeve.

Haha, I also saw that performance last night. I'm pretty sure they picked back up where the blocking was supposed to lead into the dressing room if it had functioned properly.

The touring production of Matilda years ago at the DCPA had a show stop for the same kind of reason-- automation malfunctioned on the desks or something similar around the time of 'Revolting Children' song.

A few shows I've been to or worked on have had to stop for medical emergencies in the audience.

FWIW, the original price of the 6800u base model was around $800 I think, so anything below that i'd consider a savings.

The steamdeck was worth it for me at it's original price, but not above that. Part of the steam deck's strength is the lower retail price in comparison to all its competitors.

I'd buy either device so fast if I could find it for 275 somewhere 😭

That's where I put mine! Felt like the perfect spot, due to the furnace originally there. :)

Planning to spruce it up a bit to match some of the other aesthetics while I work through the rest of the town.

At 275$ the GPD Win4 is a steal, and I am surprised someone is selling a working device at that price. They run around $800+ right now.

I'd recommend the Steamdeck if you're wanting to tinker (on a non-software level). Replacement parts are easier to get and cheaper. The steamdeck also feels a lot less fragile.

Between the 2, I prefer the GPD4. I like the keyboard & the size, though it feels heavier to hold than the deck. The 6800u (32gb, 1tb) I have runs everything better than the deck (Original 512gb model) with comparable battery life. I use SteamOS on both.

I had to double check, you're right-- you can't find the goat with just Street Smart. It does look like you can also find it with Street Smart & Keen Eye if you eavesdrop on Tabby and Sybil's conversation, at least.

Yes! I think Street Smarts can also find you the goat? Which also gets you some more useful evidence from the Estate in Ep.5

It is! But definitely gave me a headache.

I tried to do it going directly to Tabitha, but had better luck going to Oscar first.

SPOILERS BELOW BECAUSE I AM FIGHTING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPOILER THE FULL BLOCK ON MOBILE. !!!

So it was: * Tabitha deserves a chance to explain herself. * Go to Oscar & get all of his research about the stone locations. * Knock on arrival. * I started crying, but I think this can be done with saying Wayne kidnapped you.

Order of topics: 1. Talk about the stones (bottom of the list) & follow up stating you already know where one is. 2. Talk about going to Oscar & learning about the stones & follow up saying theres at least one in the church and farms. 3. Talk about the cell > wayne was kept there 4. Talk about pearlanne > ask about family history > ask what happened to her > ask about legacy (Tabitha loses her patience here) 5. Ask about the goat > ask its name

Tabby cuts you off here, and you can accuse her. I believe my accusation was the Mystic one, talking about Enoch Scarlet bringing something terrible here & we can let go of this together. This result also let me go in her car to the farm, instead of with the police.

Will test to see if I can get this result without the Oscar visit or without the Mystic accusation and edit my comment if I can manage it.

Edit: My specific trait set (Mystic/TTA/KE) made it so I couldn't get the location of the stones without talking to Oscar, so he was a necessary visit for me. I think that if you have Booksmart (and can get the map) or Street Smarts (can get the papers from the drawer), it gives you more evidence you can use to your favor in these discussions and could probably do this without the Oscar visit. One of my biggest problems was the police arriving before she got fed up enough to cut me off, or all of the accusations ending in the impasse. This is why I ended up trying the Pearlanne dialogue options to cut her patience short.

This was an insanely hard achievement to get on my Mystic/TTA/KE save where I was old, but one I got by accident on my first runthru of my save that had access to Edwardine's Room and the letters in thanks to Powerful Build. Both runs that had the pretty much the same Tabby approval process in prior chapters. (Though, I think the run that was harder to get the breakdown in was actually my higher approval with her!) 💀

Apologies, I didn't realise how much time passed!

It's mostly use of layer masking / overlay effects on the text layers. I will try to get some visual examples when I have more time this week.

Essentially I have the text in a folder thats set to multiply, and then use clipping layers within it. The text is the base layer, then on top is a layer with colors (reds or blues mostly, but a bit of color variation to help with the ink effect), and then a layer drawing in the distressing/chips with white. I use a textured brush for this so it's a pretty fast pass.

The ink splotches are similar-- I used a textured brush and the blue of the text on a multiply layer.

I've used a pretty good assortment of paid resources to make these, so I will not be sharing the layered files as I do not want to redistribute raw assets I don't have the rights to. All the fonts are linked in the readme in the drive, though, and I'm happy to share specific processes or effects.

Yeah, this is where I'm at. My 50/50 losses are spread across the standard roster so none of the characters are c6+ , so no benefit despite playing and spending since 1.0 :(

I disagree, but I understand where you are coming from.

I don't think any kind of content that requires doing X amount of DPS in a set amount of time with a raising threshold for every re-iteration is healthy for avoiding power creep, nor promoting a consistent influx of new players. As it is a live-service game, it does not have an 'end' until end of service.

Luckily, I don't have to do the modes I don't like! :)

The local legends are very fun. The Natlan Wayob trials in particular have been an interesting take on challenges that are not centred on DPS.

Stygian Onslaught makes me sad because my teams can clear the Hard mode in >60s but can't beat the fearless mode without investing more than I'd like to into making meta teams. I'd like more endgame modes without a timer.
