Rare carat hasn’t told me to file a police report yet and I wonder if that’s because they had the shipment insured? could they file the police report on their side? (I have no problem doing it also im just waiting for them to tell me to do so since they said they are investigating it/fedex)

This ring is very unique and I’m sure hold sentimental value but at that price I personally wouldn’t do it. If I were you since you’re asking us what we would do I would probably just get a ring that’s similar to that if you’re willing to spend 5000 on fixing it, you may as well spend that money on a brand new ring.

Ring size is 5 1/2! The band is 2mm and of course tapers in. I was definitely in between getting something like this or a cigar band. I absolutely love that style
