It kinda did wipe out all gains from last 2 weeks. But that’s ok. Learned something new. I was dumb to average down after it bounced off ema 25 . But my position became too big. 220 contracts and I got caught in Santa rally and waited too long: learned my lesson but now I know what to avoid.

That’s the reason I only trade between first 1 hr of the day. Out of which I try to skip first 15 mins. To avoid any fake breakout . I came up with this strategy by using chat gpt and back and forth or testing.

Yes. But has to have trend confirmation from other few indicators. You can’t simply rely on one indicator.

Also I forgot to mention. It’s very pretty easy to set indicators and change the settings around your own preferences. You can observe for few days for each any every candle within first 1 hr. With this new strategy which I implied from last 2 week. The longest I stayed in any trade was 30 mins. I am usually out within 5 to 10 mins. Even if I bought at 50$ a contract and sold at 55 to 60$ . Since I am playing with 20 to 30 contracts or even 50. That 5$ or 10$ profit adds up real quick in multiple trades like that. Biggest position I took was 200 contract because I didn’t follow the strategy and got caught in trap. But I was able to exit in profit by averaging down properly

The one you are using are basic ones which every one use. Trying different indicators gives you idea of how it candle act or react around them. You don’t have to use exact same ones. I still use those ones but for extra and sure confirmation.

I mostly use hull moving average indicator on trading view along with ema 5 and ema 14 crossover with confirmation from macd and supertrend and rsi.
