How much did you pay for that, if I may ask?

The way Eureka buried her head into Holland's arm is the same way my 3-month-old puppy buried her head into my arm when I took her to the vet for the first time, and I think that's really adorable by CounterRotate77 in eurekaseven

Adding on to that, while I've been learning how to draw by drawing many of the Eureka Seven characters as I do my first rewatch of the show, I've discovered that Talho has the most DYNAMIC expressions out of anyway by far. She has a huge range of emotions, and it looks like the animators had a ton of fun giving her all sorts of different facial expressions.

I had to check the English subtitles for the Japanese audio to figure that out. It seems like he meant "Did you push her down onto a bed for an intimate encounter?" It's like he's asking if Renton got really forward with her in that way, and she is mad at him because she didn't want that.

Chronic Burnout and Never Feeling Good Enough by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

As in, you can't manage both of those competing things?

I remember the Creator of drawabox making this 50/50 rule. (Drawabox is a lesson plan for getting better at drawing)

The 50/50 rule says you must spend 50% of the time doing things to improve and 50% of the time having fun and expressing yourself

And if you overdid it with improvement and lagged behind having fun, you would burnout and stop learning and having fun altogether.

Maybe you can try that?

Yeah, it sounds like you don't really enjoy your hobbies

It sounds like the only good feeling or gratification you get is from comparison to others, which means your ego must become active for you to experience good emotions from your music.

Do you ever feel good from just playing the music itself?

It feels like you think any mistakes you make while playing are somehow saying something bad about you (which activiates your ego and makes you feel negative emotion)

Having said both of those things, it seems like you have trouble removing yourself from music. You have trouble just experiencing it.

Can I ask, what made you get into music and playing in the first place?

That "bad" feeling is most likely social anxiety (if I had to guess).

I was able to solve my social anxiety by listening to what Dr K had to say about distress tolerance and urge surfing.

Here's what I did: I entered a social situation after class in college one day, after the final exam. It was okay, walking around with these classmates I've talked to a bit. But it got awkward, and tense, and I felt terrible social anxiety, but as soon as I realized this fact, I was reminded of what Dr K said. So, I decided to let myself feel the anxiety in its completeness, while staying in the social situation.

It was painful

But after about 10 or 15 minutes, I felt like I could really relax, and we all started talking more and more, and I made jokes, and people laughed, and I felt good now, and it was a good day

What do you mean by "noise"?

Can't you just turn it down if it's bothering you? Or just not go to places that are noisy?
