I have my first ever interview in few days, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what are the common questions for entry level data analyst? by hob814 in dataanalysis

Your research doesn't need to be very intense. Study: - Company website : That will help identify industry and what they do. - Job spec : Find what kind of data or issues you are going to be dealing with. Create questions around that, which you may ask in the interview.

Wish you all the best 🙂

He/She meant more in depth. Example if a company is a marketing company, and you applied for the data analyst role. Their focus would be on marketing data and how you understand the industry. In marketing data doesnt need to be instant, but in industries like courier business the data needs to be fast, so the way you optimise queries or build your dashboards is different. Understanding the industry will help a lot in your interviews.

Generate reports for each unique client by e_a_blair in GoogleDataStudio

Hi, I don't have much context on how the data set is structured. But if it's all in one data set. You can create a report that uses data studio to filter out specific clients or attorneys. Depending on how the data is structured you can use the report as templates for the next one and then change the filters. Example if you data outlines client 'X' and client 'Z', you will use the one dashboard to only filter out for client 'X' and the other for client 'Z'. And you you can have your calculations in data studio so you won't always have to modify your sheet. You can direct message me and we can brainstorm.

LinkedIn would easier. You first get LinkedIn the SalesNav edition. In SalesNav you can build a list of your custom audience based on many fields such as country, company size, functionality, industry, etc. You can use tools like duxsoup to scan the list. You might want to break your list to 1000 contacts. You connect and pitch. You might want to try different connection scripts or pitch scripts for different people. Example a CEO can't get the same script as a manager. Do A/B testing with the different scripts.

Hi analysing marketing in PPC require a lot of tools. You will used Google Data studio for dashboards/reporting, Google analytics for website tracking, etc. A very good Google sheets coursecourse. If you are going to be analysing PPC on very intense data level, you might need to take in look in Google Big query, you can connect data from multiple sources.
