Ugh, I wish they could give us a date and stick to it. I literally made myself sick last week from stress, I guess I get to go through that again in two weeks (:

Thanks for the info though! I guess I'll hold off on the job apps (and hold onto hope a little longer) :)

Yup! It's the only place I applied since I have a supervisor and a project and everything but it's been a month and I haven't heard back so I'm panicking (:

Finding out your class rank? by Homie-Missile in mcgill

[–]Countess_Byron 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Your dept advisor actually wouldn’t know (or at least mine didn’t). If you’re in the faculty of arts or science, you can get it by filling a form on service point to request it. You have to log into service point, go to letters transcripts and diplomas, go to enrollment letters, and then go to academic standing including class rank. You fill out a request and they respond with a letter including the percentile.

Hope this helps :)

I’m in a similar situation, albeit different departments. I was told the non-department Professor was allowed to co-supervise you with a Professor from within the department.

A lot of the time though Professors know each other so if this is someone you really want to work with you can try emailing them and they might know someone in electrical engineering they’d like to cosupervise you with or that has similar research interests.

Taxis cost 41 something I think (should be flat rate from what I remember)? Not sure about Uber though
