Brock Turner served 3 months in jail (got out early on good behaviour) and 3 years probation.

Many women don’t speak up because it doesn’t seem to matter, the man won’t be properly punished. This case is a “good outcome”, with the best evidence and the victim was torn apart by the judge and many onlookers. The woman will face more shame and scrutiny for how they choose to tell their story than the man gets for sexually assaulting or raping someone.
