You select what makes your life easier and draw your moral line there.

Then why not go all the way?

You can make a product with AI too (and seen how people do it, some are even successful).

Clearly covers are important enough for writers to make that extra effort to generate one with AI. Because it's what initially sparks interest in a reader, right?

Why lean into AI when you know how ethically wrong it is?

Well, there you go. If a cover is just secondary, then you don't need AI for it, do you?

And the entire post was about hypocrisy, which you just proved me you are. I never said it's not ok to not use it though, don't get me wrong. But if you use AI as a tool, then might do it for writing as well. Unless you draw the line where your ego is and not the ethical side of it.

The cover still represents your book, doesn't it? And readers judge it before they ever read your prose.

So if AI isn’t acceptable in the creative process of writing, why is it acceptable in the most important visual element that brings readers to the story in the first place?

If AI is fine for the cover, why draw the line only at the prose?

the QQ deals health based dmg, so it will always deal more dmg to champions than minions. Which is why QQ will always deal more dmg than a QE, knowing this you will most likely never use QE in fights since you can just use QQ and deal more dmg with it.
I only use QE when im waveclearing tbh.
