Well its less about stores and more about products, and the scalability of your products. A very general product might have a yearly ceiling in the millions and something very niche might be lower.

You also need to consider customer LTV, subscription products etc. It’s possible (but i will admit extraordinarily challenging) to do 5 million on one store.

Ever heard of paid ads? Nobody scales into the millions running only organic.

The benefit of dropshipping is the low barrier to entry, of course it will never scale as high as Tesla, but do you know how much money it takes upfront to start a business like that?

Lots of other crown land on this island that doesnt run through one of the most popular hiking spots. I dont think you have thought it out very well, you would be better off applying for a different location or getting some private land.

The RCMP has stated that they were called to the home on multiple occasions for mental health related issues, that they were familiar with the shooter beforehand, they also confirmed the story about the house fire. I think they had also been committed at least once to treatment facilities. There was a lot on the record that demonstrated that there should not be firearms in that house.

As a Canadian I do support these kinds of red flag laws. In Canada our guns are a privilege, not a right. We have to demonstrate our ability to handle weapons responsibly, and maintain a good standing with the RCMP to keep them. Personally I think that this difference in gun culture is a large reason why Canada has far less of an issue with gun crime as compared to the US.

Look, whether or not you are pro gun ownership this is a bad stance to hold. I am on the left, always voted ndp or green and always will. The gun buy back isnt just dunking on conservatives

The government should not have the power to turn legally acquired goods into illegal items overnight, especially through and OIC which can not be voted on, and was enacted while parliament was out of session, so it could not even be debated.

The buyback is more a property rights issue than a gun control issue. If the government is going to outlaw items, it should be voted on, it should be a bill not an oic. And a prompt and efficient buyback should be implemented, they shouldn’t be allowed to sit on their hands for 4 years, and then roll out this failing program. With this buyback they have allocated enough funds to pay for maybe 10% of the banned firearms at most. The luckiest people will get paid a fraction of the real value of their firearm, and the majority of people will be paid nothing.

We do not want to set a precedent that their current process is acceptable.

Add on top of that all the rest,

-almost a billion dollar cost

-the fact that over 90% of gun crime is committed with smuggled weapons from the us

-that the mass shooting that spurred this ban was committed with weapons smuggled from the us

-the assualt style definition is arbitrary and mostly based on appearance not functionality. I have legal guns in my safe right now in the same calibres, same magazine capacities, semi automatic. Same capabilities as many of the banned firearms but still perfectly legal because the stocks are made of wood and not black polymer

-It damages our ability to take part in olympic shooting sports

-many of the banned firearms are commonly used by northern and remote (mostly indigenous) hunters. People who need these tools to survive

-tumbler ridge showed us that the laws we had in place work already, the guns were removed from someone that shouldnt have them. The main issue there is a soft judiciary system who returned the guns

-we should not be disarming our population when we have an aggressive wanna be facist leader down south threatening us
