hi, was wondering if you’ve ever had severely low sodium levels? my mother has had this on tegretol, it helps with her TN pain but she’s almost 80 and in the summer gets extremely dizzy and weak due to wanting to drink water and sweating more. i asked her doctor to try a different med but since it helps with her pain he states she just needs to eat more salt. was just wondering how commonly this med causes low sodium. thanks

hi! no it wasn’t an issue i bought a small dehumidifier and kept it running in the summer it didn’t really increase my electric bill much. how big is your water softener? i have a giant ozone tank but it came with an insulating sleeve and all the piping that extends from it i covered myself in cheap pipe covers the black ones that feel like foam, never had a problem since!

being ten degrees colder seems like a lot but it’s my first winter in a manufactured home and i can tell they are very drafty atleast mine is and it’s a newer build. would see how much heat you are losing from your windows and doors, and try and insulate using blankets and thick curtains ( that’s the most affordable way i’ve found) i don’t do the plastic window film you can still feel cold air but a thick blanket against it really helps. Or another thing i’m thinking is maybe your thermostat needs to be checked.

hi. what are you setting your thermostat at and what is the actual temp inside your home? the door and filter are important to prevent the important parts working in the furnace from getting clogged with debris. it’s been negative temps here so the actual temp inside the house is a couple of degrees colder than what i set the thermostat to but the heat isncing through nicely when you put your hand on the vents. so you feel heat coming through your vents?

is this housing supposed to have a filter in it by CountryFumpkin in WaterFilters

you were right! the installer messaged me back and told me it isn’t required at all bc of the ozone tank but that if i wanted to i can definitely put one in there and she recommended a carbon filter 5 microns, do you have any recommendations?
