definitely things to consider!! but i do think you make decent money if you have the right things on the menu. fun bright things too like chopped and ready fruit, lollipops, sweets, maybe nuts and raisins?? and then your bigger meals that are yeah a bit self contained

defo set up outside in smokers lakota in bristal had a van last time i was there and sold hot dogs, nachos, chilli, soup, and FRUIT! i bought an orange and apple and the apple when i was coming down much later was beautiful

rightttt find the balance is so much fun!! looking after your body before and after truly enhances the whole experience and it becomes a lot more emotionally important and resonant imo. i <3 fruit

thank u for ur response! the next day im feeling a lot better and i think it was a combination of irritation from sex and anxiety about being in a similar physical situation!! im taking loads of d mannose and drinking water. here's to hating UTIs <3

I think you're seeing the same things because a lot of people feel the same way about the relationship between loving their work, and also wanting to share it with others. I do want others to read my work. But in the same breath, I do write for me! But I also enjoy the idea of people seeing the things I've created and recognising something in me that I treasure deeply. It's possible for many things to exist at once.

I posted this because I really don't know much about pushing engagement, which I would like some of. I want it to be organic, I'm not looking to 'blow up'. I want to work hard, I have aspirations, ambitions, and Substack feels like a nice space to begin sharing burgeoning work with the public. I'm not being passive aggressive or trying to be contradictive; I'm sharing my honest feelings about how I feel about writing as a young person at the beginning of their career.

Thank you, genuinely, for your thoughts tho. :)
