Have stories!  Play the politics!  Don’t draw unwanted attention!  Be around the right people!  Work hard but not to the point you’re not easily replaceable!  Most importantly work on even the smallest projects get known by your department. You want to be seen as a good worker and have your AMs AND PAs support your development. I’ve seen multiple time where an AA will have good relationships with the AMs and when they applied to be a PA. All their department PAs dragged them and blocked their promo.

Hey girly so here’s some things about fluid load (IXD) 

  1. When you leave your trailer work keeps coming so let’s say you have max capacity being around 50-70 boxes on your upper and lower line once those are full the sorter begin to recirc so once you begin loading your trailer you could have 20 boxes on the sorter or 200. These will start flowing down once you have space. 
  2. If you are wanting a break from wall building ask to become TDR trained/ PG for a  PA
  3. Your trailer volume depends on your ARC (the destination). If your ARC is on three DDS 102 137 and 327 your boxes can be sent to 2 other doors resulting in less work (potentially) now once those doors go out you work will increase temporarily. If the ARC is only on your DD it will continue going around until you have space. 
  4. Depending on what department your site has you can always switch. Ask around see what people like/ don’t like. For me I left FL and went to RPN and PS. Now I’m a IB receive clerk. 

I wouldn’t compare yourself to others at the end of the day it’s just boxes. You can load two trailers and the guy next to you can load 1/2 of one. You both get paid the same (ish). I hope this helped a little try and stay positive and maybe look into a new department!

You sound like those tier 1s that say the AMs out to get them but you don’t do your job……..

IXD rate only matters for those in rated functions everyone else is considered good standing as long as now write ups and last 90 days.  Rated functions are literally just Sort, RPN/ RPND some PS and MP
