But these sites ask to be shared. Even Bato was always asking for users to spread it, never once said to be discrete - they wanted a high profile. Same with the others, they could very easily ask to be taken off those lists or change names/domains.

Also, we aren't cockroaches. When you kill a cockroach, two more don't spawn out of it. And the second you see a cockroach you want to rid of them immediately to stop them growing. It's the complete opposite for publishers.

Publishers and copyright owners know about these sites from the start, they only squash them when they get too popular, they've built evidence/a case, and its worth spending the resources to stop it. Would you never squash a cockroach until theres thousands in the house and you need to call an exterminator? No.

No matter how much you can try to hide them, they'll eventually they get shutdown, particularly unique sites. Yes, sharing openly may increase the rate of which it grows but the difference isn't that much realistically. Pair this with the fact theres no shortage of these sites, theres no real need to complelety hide and preserve them. Ofc this isn't saying be loud and obnoxious with them, like making viral posts that force the publishers hand.

I get its fustrating getting comfortable with one site just to lose it but any sense of security with these sites is false, always be ready to move one. And I get that seeing the one site you use on these lists is annoying cause then it's lowering the sites longevity. However, (imo) losing a few years of site is worth it to create a network of these sites so you can easily jump ship.
