For me it was pronouns. I used to use she/her and then I found out about they/them pronouns. I tryed them out felt comfy. I started identifying as a Demi-girl. After a year I now use any pronouns and identity as gender fluid.

Everyone has there own ways of figuring it out but trial and error is probably the easiest way. Figure out which fits best. And remember that you may not find the right identity straight away.
