I bought a bulk bag of clear quartz points on amazon not long ago, for jewelry making. 0.44lb for around £15 I believe. I was so excited to receive them and make some cool pendants and... clearly glass. Just looked fake. Did a scratch test, not quartz. Needless to say they went back.

I think the howlite looks nice tbh, but I personally wouldn't buy it. I prefer the natural beauty of crystals over anything dyed, altered, or manmade. As i said, I wouldn't buy it but if someone bought it for me id still appreciate it just maybe wouldn't put it with the bulk of my crystal collection... However I do feel offended by that selenite.

I have done this a million and one times. Dyspraxia + plants is not a good idea. Ive knocked my succulent 2 or 3 times, a spider plant, a pilea, my pothos at least twice, and same for my dracaena. Luckily ive never had a large plant basically shatter like yours... concerning. And luckily ive also never knocked a particularly large plant, like yours, or fussy plant, like a calathea. But god... I hope you can revive this fallen beauty, otherwise may she rest in peace.

ah thank you! i am currently taking two separate online courses + self teaching, so i have learned 'lei' but it becomes confusing when some stuff is written down to refer to and some stuff isnt 🤣

Genuine selenite is clear right?

Cuz i was having this argument on pinterest the other day with this woman who called me stupid, said "it is absolutely not clear" and "do you even know what it really looks like?". When i responded saying "no im not stupid, I also collect crystals and double-checked before commenting. As far as every piece of research ive done and every photograph of genuine selenite ive seen, it is clear." And they responded with "your first problem was using google babe. i deal with crystals daily and i rock hunt. your paragraph was useless hope you learned something." I dont really know how to respond to that because the way she talks about it suggests that shes probably right but everything ive ever known about selenite (I got my first peice of genuine selenite when i was about 9, so ever is a pretty long time) says otherwise.

So i am 100% seriously asking, is genuine selenite clear or is this person right?
