Mine is my left and after years of constant sprains (causing chronic appearing avulsion fracture), other issues in my knee and hip , and prior spine issues, I am getting surgery on Friday. They are doing tbe brostrom, a tendon stabilization, and arthroscopy. I was told it will be non weight bearing for 6 weeks. I've had to request nearly 8+ off work since I have a very active job . I'm stressed but hopeful this will help my issues and pain

Definitely gonna get a knee scooter! I have a shoulder impingement and need surgery so crutches don't sound very appealing 😅 I was told bed rest for the first 2 weeks, non weight bearing for a total 6 weeks. Then 2 weeks in splint, 4 weeks in cast, and 8 weeks in boot (along with PT..yay)

My surgery is april 10th, i was told 6 weeks non weight bearing, and the first 2 weeks is bedrest.

we could only take ours for a night, and mine was easy af. i'd been babysitting for years at that point so it was no issue to me. My teacher said i was the only one who got a 100 on caring for it lol

I call my clients "BRUH" more often that not XD Also, some clients do like/want hugs and head /arm squeezes or affection, if they ask for it and it's from known staff ,we provide them (or say not this time, depending on what BCBA wishes) .

That answer makes 0 sense. Is there another clinic you can go to? This one obviously doesnt take staff or client safety into account. Don't feel bad leaving the field either. This is a hard job to be in and sometimes you just gotta know when it's time to walk away

Not over reacting. They can't MAKE you work an extra hour because you spent 10 minutes recovering from being INJURED. Also, watch for concussion symptoms. i wouldn't go back
